The food was exquisite, and the server who attended to us was incredibly polite and helpful, going above and beyond in their service.

Ste who served us at the carvery was absolutely fantastic. So polite, courteous and had impeccable customer service skills. Lance was very friendly and accommodating, as were the girls who served us at the table.

Shocking service. Young lass pretended she couldn't see us and was chatting with her mates whilst we were waiting to be seated. Had to fetch her myself and she couldn't have been ruder to be honest. Absolutely clueless.

Waiting staff were lovely and professional but manager was arrogant and rude and pulled her face when I asked to order drinks .. food was terrible .. old and congealed.rotten rock hard inside roast potatoes as well. Waste of money and terrible View menu

We had a great time, 5 stars, would give more if we could, not the last time we come. Bottomless drinks and amazing food made for a wonderful dining experience. The service was immaculate and everything was fresh. Honestly the experience was one for the books and I highly recommend going.

Great food as always, big shout out to the guy who was serving the meat (I believe he was called Steve) engaged fully with every person in the queue and was really bubbly and seemed so happy to be there, he’s a credit to your team! All the staff at Toby Darlington are very attentive and friendly and always make me feel welcome whenever I visit.

This was another good visit. The chef doing the carving and Sophie our waitress were both excellent. The chef was very engaging and chatted to everyone in a friendly and individual way: a real talent. Sophie was engaging and attentive but not false. Everything was done timely and comfortably. So professional and hard working but made it look easy. Of course the food was as good as it always is. The meat was good as always with a good choice, however the real star was the roast tates. But the rest of the veg , gravy and Yorkshire pudding was tasty, hot and freshly cooked. A real pleasure. View menu
