Delicious food. You have GF Pasta and you can have quite any of the sauces with it. Interesting waiting staff.

The food was pretty good, but the service wasn't. We never got our drink and didn't have the chance to ask for it until we had already paid.

Loved watching them cook! Great bread and fresh green salad to share. House wine is great. I had swordfish with peppers and it was good. boyfriend had pici pasta with mussels, squid etc and he loved it. The lemon tart was fabulous! View menu

No. No Mask. No alle dita di olio in ogni singolo piatto. Mangiabile, godibile, ma è un no per chi non è abituato a mangiare olio condito con qualche spezia e pesce. Buoni i dolci, letteralmente l'unico piatto non strabordante di olio.

ristorante tradizionale di monterosso. molto popolare, indispensabile per prenotare. Ci sono stato per 25 anni e non mi ha mai deluso. fantastici antipasti freddi e caldi. piatti in cemento e senza frills ma freschi e reali. per assaggiare gli spaghetti di ciak serviti nel coccio.

Prima serata a Monterosso al mare..cenato in questo ristorante.Per necessità ci siamo accontentati dell'interno ma, riuscendo a prenotare in tempo, il dehors è davvero caratteristico e si affaccia sulla piazza principale, vicino al mare.Antipasto di alici ripiene e risotto alla marinara veramente ottimi.Accoglienza cordiale, prezzi nella media. The food was really delicious! It came pretty fast and it was also hot. The waiter brought us a big bowl made of clay which contained our pasta. They put the food in our plates and left some in the bowl so we can put more after we eat. You have to wait in a line to be put at a table, but no more than 5-10 minutes, depends on your friend group or family’s size. The restaurant has an interesting history which I recommend looking into!

If you are a native Italian and love Ligurian cuisine such as squid and octopus, you will probably enjoy this restaurant. If you’re visiting from anywhere besides Italy and hope to enjoy an authentic Italian meal, you aren’t welcome here and you’re going to know it. Although the restaurant depends on tourism, the staff is disdainful and the chef resents having to cook for you. He lists about 10-15 dishes that he won’t make and doesn’t want you to ask him about. If you order something he doesn’t feel you should be eating,(even though it’s on the menu) like pasta with Bolognese sauce, he will serve you spaghetti with a 1/2 cup red sauce and about four tiny pieces of chopped meat. SKIP THIS SPOT We should’ve known from the abrupt and cold manner we were met with when we asked for a table for two at dinner the patio was virtually empty and the first page of the menu that listed the various “demands” of their customers “MUST order a first and/or second course for dinner each, not just appetizers, NO separate checks, inform us if you’re in a hurry, we may not be the place for you” …bread was basically thrown at us onto our table, we were scowled at for asking for bread plates, took forever to place an order there was only 3 other tables with us outside, it’s not like they were too busy .
