"Amazing afternoon tea. I bought a voucher for my parents and it exceeded expectations on all levels. They could not stop raving about the sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, cakes and especially the freshly baked (still warm) scones. Completely recommended if you want to pop in for coffee, lunch or a light bite but especially if you want to give a gift. The gift of afternoon tea at the Trumpet corner tea room is definitely a gift that will be welcome."

the cajun chicken burger and simple chicken burger ordered, both with fries. Friday was 2 burgers for £20 very good value, very good food and excellent service and a warm welcome.

Called in hereon spec and we weren't disappointed, it was excellent. A good choice of vegetarian food, staff were lovely and we met Prinni, short for Princess, the resident pub dog. We will definitely be going back.

had the rindburger and the side of the biggest wobble rings I had ever! plus partner had cajun hühnerburger, again very tasty. good pub duve, friendly staff and accept dogs in the bar area doggie water dish available).

what a super lunch good choice cooked nicely. the personal so well maintained and pleasant. for me excellent toilet facilities are disabled. dog-friendly too! the whole experience was excellent. we will return and recommend to family and friends.

Turned away when we turned up at 2pm for lunch, despite them not closing until an hour later. Also previously went for cake (which was on display) and told that cake 's not being cut until tomorrow . Hilarious if it wasn 't plain dumb. Nice venue ruined by a collective of Karen 's running it.

Fantastic pub, wonderful food, in fact the best vegetarian Sunday dinner I've had in a pub ever. Really friendly staff, run by a lovely young family, the locals were incredibly friendly, welcoming and chatty too. Stayed overnight in campervan at the campsite at rear of pub, which is great too with very good clean shower block. Would highly recommend this beautiful pub, I'm definitely going again next time I'm in the area
