What a wonderful dining experience! We usually order takeout from Usha Express, but decided to try their Sunday buffet and we were blown away. We were so full afterwards, we could hardly move!

This Indian restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to. The dishes are full of flavor and every bite is delicious. I give this place a perfect 10 out of 10 and compliments to the chef for their excellent work!

The service at this restaurant on October 5, 2023 was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and the food was outstanding at a reasonable price. I have no complaints at all, and I am usually quite picky. I haven't been here in a couple of years, and I would say that it has greatly improved. The cushion on my chair was worn out, causing me to sink into it. However, the food was excellent. I ordered lamb chops with rice and a paratha. The paratha was particularly outstanding, with a lovely layered texture and delicate flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection. The portion of lamb chops was generous, served with potatoes and vegetables. I enjoyed a nice house red wine for only £4.50 for a large glass. While the restaurant could use some redecoration and better chairs, the food and service were top-notch.

Having a break near Burnley and looking for a midweek curry, I thought I would seek local knowledge. The result was Usha being suggested to us by our hotel's receptionist. To be honest it doesn't look very promising from the outside but their large car park was almost full. Having taken the plunge it became apparent that they had a Wednesday night deal which had brought in a lot of customers. It was busy and reckon the kitchen and staff had their hands full. Despite this, the service was efficient and the timing excellent. There was nothing wrong with the food although the wife found the sheekh kebab too hot and the balti on her chilli limit. I usually don't like to criticize local businesses, but I must say that this restaurant needs some improvement. I have dined here many times over the years and always found it to be decent for the price. However, during my recent visit, the service was extremely slow. While we were seated promptly and served poppadoms and chutneys within 10 minutes, they were soft instead of crispy. We had to wait over 30 minutes just to be given a menu. The starters from the set menu were average at best. Our main meals took 1.5 hours to arrive after we had sat down. I informed my family that we would leave in 5 minutes if the food did not arrive, and it only just made it in time. By then, I had lost my app... View menu
