"We visited the vale on Saturday (16th) after travelling form Oxfordshire for a weeks holiday and did not want to cook, the food was execellent we had cod and gammon both came out on lovely hot plates and where fantastic. ww decided to go again tonight (21st) this time we had the feather blade steak and beef lasagne plus a side of garlic bread again the food could not faulted. Would recommend this lovely pub to all for its excellent food, friendliness and without costing a fortune. Just sad that we have to go back home."

Food is very nice. By the way, the website menu is out of date.

We had a short spring break holiday in the Aeron valley and tried the local pub for an evening meal.

We booked a table the day before. It was really busy when we arrived, but great service and food. Really great value.

Another visit to vale of Aeron this time for sunday lunch. The sunday lunch was delicious. Plenty of meat, potatoes and vegetables and very tasty gravy. Excellent service and good value for money. Highly recommended.

Booked last minute on a Friday evening and they found a table for us despite being very busy. The food took a little while, but it was well worth the wait for freshly cooked meals. All four meals were excellent. Very reasonable prices too. Recommended to us yesterday and so had we could fit in before the end of our holidays.
