great place, eating was nice and the service was great. will definitely stop a regular when we are in newcastle. so good to have a dedicated vegan restaurant in the city center

Quite possibly the tastiest and most indulgent vegan eatery I 've ever been to. The kebab was sensational, fresh, crispy leafs, delicate meat . I 'm salivating just as I recall it 's awesomeness.

at my second visit! eating is nothing but amazing. a warm welcome from the minute they go through the door. I cannot recommend this place very much! the walnut and lentil pate is easy to die. cannot wait for the mixed kebab!

AMAZING vegan comfort food with Italian options which are usually so rare in vegan places. Creamy pasta, mac and cheese, proper burgers that aren't overwhelmingly massive. Lovely staff. Not much ambience and right by a busy road is the only negative.

Wow! What a great little restaurant fantastic food that would be good enough to turn the world vegan! Friendly welcoming staff and a lovely atmosphere. My only improvement that I can suggest is that the toilet could do with a revamp. Will be back next time we are in toon!

we had a lot of nice vegan foods over the years, but this is the place was the best! You know, if you take a bite and a must of joy meets you, even our eyes closed a few times with luck. really friendly, real service. it can't wait to come back to newcastle for about 2 recommend.

While staying in Newcastle, I took my vegetarian girlfriend for a meal and was recommended to go here by a veggie colleague. The surroundings are pleasant enough. Lady who served us seemed disinterested. Both of our pizzas were covered in some sort of oil slick which seemed to be acting as a means of hiding the lack of flavour. Seemed very pricey and we were both unwell afterwards. I will not be returning.

First time visiting Vegano, we just picked up food to go for our daughter, lovely friendly staff, restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, dim lights, candles, nice place to sit in, we did sit whilst waiting for our order, which did not take too long. We ordered the mixed Kebab, which came with fries, the deep fried Ravioli and a tub of coleslaw, too much for 1 person, but it's what my daughter wanted to try, the kebab is huge and honestly on opening smelled like our kebabs, (we eat meat, daughter does not) you could smell all the veg, sauces etc, she absolutely loved it and she loved the crunchiness of the Ravioli, this came with a tub of sauce too, all absolutely amazing, compliments to the che...

Beth who served me was warm, welcoming, kind, genial and genuine, one of those life souls who uplifts and is an all round superlative grade 1 good egg. What an asset to the restaurant this young lady is, bosses take note! Vegano has outdoor seating set up on the pavement to the front. Inside it is simply and tastefully decorated.
