Velocity Cafe Bicycle Workshop

Found this on the cycle route and decided to stop. Good food and friendly staff. Would recommend for any cyclist and non cyclist.

Every time I'm in Inverness, I make sure to visit Velocity. And I always suggest it to friends. Most recently, my partner and I popped in for breakfast and walked out feeling nourished in more ways than one. I love the hearty and healthy food as well as the warm atmosphere!

This place was so good, in every way. The food was fresh and so full of flavor. I had the squash bagel and my partner enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Our daughter had the blueberry pancakes. The bagel was so yum, I’ve never had anything like it and the flavor combination was to die for. The staff working were happy, chatty and made our experience at their cafe even better. They also played great music! Thanks for having us!

I’ve been here twice for lunch and both times it was lovely. It’s a busy place with a good vibe. The food is very fresh and although the service is a bit slow I believe it must be because they take the time to make your food so it arrives super hot and fresh. I visited this cafe on my daughters recommendation,,,,,,,,and had a great experience! Service was fantastic, I simply had a coffee but my daughter says their food is outstanding. They are also super dog friendly, so my collie got tons of attention which he loves! The decor and artwork on the walls is fab and in soothing shades of blue,,,,,I like that the cafe is a social enterprise and hosts community events,,,,a great find,,,,I highly recommend a visit...

I have never been to a better cafe than this one. The food is not only delicious and varied, but also healthy and intriguing. The staff are excellent, and the cafe has a clear identity and ethos that supports the local community through various projects, including those focused on healthy living and raising awareness about climate change, mental health, and the arts. The adjacent bicycle shop workshop is a fantastic addition to the cafe. This lovely place truly embodies a unique and wonderful concept.

We were looking for a place to eat in Inverness; at first I thought the prices were a bit expensive but when I looked at the menu items I got excited to eat here and there food did not disappoint. It was creative, exciting and everything tasted excellent. It was also a fun experience as several of the dishes had layers of items we kept discovering as we ate. I had the weekly special, huevos rancheros, my husband had the hommus plate and my daughter had the granola. We shared between us and loved all the dishes, but the hommus plate was probably the best.
