Extensive, varied menu, friendly, helpful and very personable staff, food of exceptionally high quality and really generous portions. Unbeatable value for money! Great shame we live so far away.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food is superb, and the staff are delightful. The atmosphere is charming. Don't miss out on the potato rosti and toasties - they are particularly delicious.

A useful location when visiting Uley Bury, the large hill fort which overlooks the village. We arrived only a little before closing time and, therefore, didn't have the opportunity of relaxing and reading the newspapers provided.

Located in a picturesque village of Uley, near the road and near the post office. Fantastic art center and cafeteria.A lovely staff and cakes are to die. I can't wait to get back. We had the crispy chocolate and coagulated cream. Stunning food, excellent location and friendly dogs.

I am thrilled to see this charming cafe reopen and serving fantastic food right away. I had a delicious lunch of Chorizo hash and Turkish eggs, accompanied by a beautiful cup of coffee. I cannot find any faults with this place! If you have never been here before, you must give it a try.

I went to lunch here a few weeks ago. We chose the chips halloumi that was absolutely delicious. It is a charming and welcoming coffee shop with a truly relaxing atmosphere. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. They make a great selection of cakes too. Lovely for a nice relaxing lunch.

I have been here before but not for a while.I came home from a dog walk in the local Uley Bury with friends.I had Benedict eggs (bigly came with two slices of choice bread instead of muffins) My husband had a dish of brunch that was of a generous size.The location is hidden in South street, right in front of the village store.The prices are quite high (3 for a good bake)

The Vestry cafe has been a regular for me since I moved to Uley.The cafeteria is a cosy and bustling place with a moment of unstoppable tranquility. Charming when you go!A fabulous place for family and friends: I will usually try their fabulous Florentine eggs and Benedict for breakfast.Today I ate avocado with feta cheese and mint in barn and an egg staggered, absolutely fabulous. So pretty I had to make a picture!With a wide variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, there's something for everyone, including delicious homemade cakes?
