"We visited this restaurant this evening and had a mixed experience. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 7.30pm so felt a little watched. The waitress kept an eye out to see the exact moment we finished eating so are plates could be whipped away. We booked through the folk and was advised that the discount only applies if we purchase either a starter or dessert with out main which was fine but was not mentioned anywhere on the folk. The food was lovely to be fair, we asked for saag aloo as a side (as it is served in England) and were annoyed to find we were charged 14 euros just for this. Very overpriced. The desserts were overpriced too and not much to taste or look at. Probably wouldn't return."

Eventually a real, genuine, understated Indian restaurant where you can eat a good old Friday curry, nicely prepared. Solid menu, nice service. Will come often now. View menu

...in the neighbourhood, walking distance from Victor Hugo Place. The food is always good, and the Indian hosts are friendly and helpful, speaking both English and French. For experts on Indian food and also for those just wanting to discover.

I have been here to dine in and for carry-out. Both times the food was absolutely mouth watering. I have traveled in India and lived in Bangladesh and Nepal so I'm pretty particular about my Indian food. The staff is very nice, the decor is lovely. Overall a very good experience. View menu

This was one of my favorite meals on a 9 day trip through France. The owner/manager was incredibly friendly, and we didn't feel rushed throughout the meal. I was thrilled with the spice level of the chicken tikka masala (I don't handle spiciness well). Even better was getting to have French rose wine with it. Love the mix of cultural norms.

Nice and spacious this restaurant is great for tourists and locals. Food here is basically for the French palate and hence not spicy. The owner M,Rawat is courteous and attends to all personally. On our request he kindly gave us onions and green chillies on the side, a must for us Indians. We went through La Fourchette and got a discount of 20% on some dishes but for first comers I would recommend going straight for the fixed menu which is very reasonable and good value for money. We had lamb vindaloo (could have been spicier), shrimp masala (banal), palak paneer (creamy with chunks of paneer), basmati pilaf (flavoured well with cardamoms), plain naans (light and crusty), and perfect gulab j...
