"The setting is nice, modern decor, view of the lake etc to begin my colleagues tea was tepid which the server knew but still served it, we waited an age to order more drinks before finally they came to take a food order we all ordered from the menus placed in front of us, 4 cooked breakfasts and a eggs Benedict 30 mins later still no food and we were only then approached to be told that the kitchen stopped serving cooked breakfast at 0900hrs! We reordered from the food available when some of that food came 2 dishes were incorrect, they were sent back after an hour and a half with no food (orange squash instead of orange juice also might I add) we gave up and left we had tried several times to raise our concerns with the ‘manager’ Eloise we were ignored Eloise as supervisor you had numerous opportunities to solve this for us but you watched it crash and burn at one point when we asked to speak to you you replied sarcastically yes in a minute! for this I blame the senior management here who were all absent rarely have I witnessed such appalling service! At one point we considered if we had inadvertently attended a Fawlty Towers sketch sadly not it’s just the routine service here avoid if at all possible! Btw we ended up having an excellent lunch at Ferro in St Neots 8 mins drive away go there instead!"

Really lovely views and nice and quiet. Drinks and food on more expensive side. Cheese board was nice but nothing exceptional. Calamari was nice.

Not only expensive but the forgot our order and there was only 3 other people in the bar ! . As we were waiting for the Spa to open we needed a drink . Never again !

Breakfast hot buffet foods cold fortunately a member of staff organised hot in the end Evening restaurant put me off as a designer range of foods and very expensive and couldnt believe I saw nothing on menu that I would have gone for

I went to this restaurant alone for work and wanted a change of scenery. It was conveniently located just a short walk away from where I was staying. The food was good and I enjoyed the view over the lake. However, I found it to be quite pricey.

I came to the restaurant after a spa day and booked a table. My friend and I ordered an onion bhaji burger with Cajun spiced chips. However, when the food arrived, the chips were not actually spiced. We mentioned this to our waiter, who brought a small pot of curry powder and told us to sprinkle it over our chips. The prices of the meals were higher than average, and we were surprised to see a service charge added to the bill considering the poor service we had received. The quality of the food was similar to that of a Wetherspoons, but at double the price. View menu

This restaurant is very well decorated and lovely, but the customer service is very poor. Basic restaurant duties were not fulfilled, as drinks were not offered during our meal and no one was available to ask for refills or to clear our dishes. The food was average for the price. When we finally caught someone's attention and requested dessert, we had to wait far too long. They informed us that our order did not go through to the kitchen and gave us extra scoops of ice cream as compensation. It's a shame that the lack of customer service overshadowed the beautiful setting of the restaurant.

Along with 14 other Ladies we sat down to our 'Christmas Lunch '. Although some of our party would have preferred something else we were told that we all had to have the same menu and could not be mixed with anything from the main menu. The Dinner was, to say the least inedible. Frozen, uncooked cold sprouts, diced frozen veg, hardly a handful. Three chunks of dry tasteless (not even sure if it was Turkey) grey meat, a circle of shop bought stuffing, no flavour whatsoever and a splash of brown liquid purporting to be gravy. I asked for cranberry sauce, which arrived too late to disguise the taste in a bowl that had been dipped into with dried bits all around the edge and no spoon!! Friendly...
