"Breakfast in Berlin Sundays in Berlin is mainly about one thing: Frühstuck! The excessive, long lasting come-together breakfast that takes place in nearly every café and restaurant, lasting from in the morning to in the afternoon, mostly buffets for a few euros. Some...places you can get the experience for just five euros. Berlin's Sunday breakfast is a tradition every tourist should experience. So last Sunday we skipped the breakfast we already had paid for in our hotel in Friedrichshain and headed for the bigger and better experience at any of the many cafes in the neighbourhood. On our way we passed a small and humble café. The name Weder gestern noch morgen (meaning Neither today nor tomorrow) was intriguing. A small family was having their breakfast in the early sun outside, and the food seemed so delicious that we had to ask the family what they were eating. The answer was simply vegan breakfast We forgot about our plans of a long Berliner frühstuck and headed inside Weder gestern noch. The vegan breakfast they served us was probably the best breakfast I ever tasted. My tastebuds went wild. Fresh cut vegetables. Homemade paste of lentils. Tasty bulgur with herbs. Marinated avocado. Soft and pickled fennel. Dried tomatoes. Olives. Salad of potatoes, squash and mushrooms. And then: Fresh cut orange, pineapple, strawberry, kiwi and two types of melon. Afterwards we felt satisfied, but not heavy or lazy. Filled up, but not too full. None of us are vegans, neither vegetarians we are both happy with eating milk, eggs and meat. But if you ever visit Friedrichshain, this is something you should try. Gärtnerstraße close to Boxhagener Platz, and close to Ubahnstop Samariterstrasse."

We’ve had lunch at weder gestern noch morgen. We weren’t expecting so much en just dropped by. The food is absolutely delicious! Service was good, it’s not the fastest we’ve had but we we didn’t bother. Try it, it’s worth it

the caffe itself looks nice and cozy. smootheien taste nice, eat is also ok. but I just can't wait for my drinks for not talking about the waiting time for the food and the place wasn't even full. Maybe we were unhappy, but I wouldn't have any other chance to starve there.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday morning. The local was pretty full and thus quite noisy. We were seated right away, but had to wait minutes for the coffees and around for the scrambled eggs we had ordered. The food was really...tasty though, but certainly too long of a waiting time.

our food and drinks tasted ok, but we waited for them to get them. the food and the drinks were not brought for everyone at once, but in chaotic order. the waiters weren't even nice enough to apologize. the tables and the bar were loaded. with unwashed and the people were turned away while they were filled with free tables.

A charming cafe with a wide range of breakfast offers (I especially recommend any of the scrambled eggs breakfasts although the veggie breakfast is very nice, too), plus great coffee. The atmosphere of the place is mesmerizing typical for this district. It is...adviseable to make a reservation first if you're planning on going there on a weekend, as it is very popular. Tip: they also run book exchange you bring a book and you can take a new one in exchange.

A fantastic place for a great start in the morning! The homely atmosphere and the smell of fresh coffee and cakes will give you the welcome in a delicious reign where poetry (that one of the owner, spread on the wall), music (there is...a piano to play for free) and food coexist. Bread roll with cheese, pears and pomegranate... and other unusual and genuine combinations make every scrap of bread a wonderful experience (see the self-explaining photos). An oasis of pleasure in the morning.

I've been to this cafè lately several times a week for a meal, a snack, or just a coffee. I live in Friedrichshain and this is by far my favorite place around here. The food is healthy, fresh and delicious; the people working there make...you feel at home at all times and treat you like a friend, rather than a customer; finally, the place is very cozy: what I especially love is that they have a real piano and especially during the weekends musicians come and play live while people enjoy their coffee.

We were here twice last week, once on Saturday and once on a weekday. Saturday everything was perfect, the veggie brekkie and the omelette and smoothies were great and delicious. It was all served really fast and nothing to complain about. On the weekday there...was only one waiter and it took ages till we got our food and it wasn't up to the standard from the Saturday before. Some drinks got forgotten so ya not that good of an experience but all in all the food is worth it. Also prices are really good here
