"We have friends who live nearby, and when we go ti visit them, a trip to Wee Bears Cafe is no 1 on the agenda. The location is perfect, so peaceful and beautiful . The food is delicious and different. My personal favourite is Bacon Scruffin mmmmm!! and then of course there’s wee bear himself. Such a gorgeous friendly dog, who has now been joined by the beautiful Winnie. Best just happens to be the double of our dog Tess, who sadly went over the rainbow bridge a few years ago. There simply isn’t anything not to like here. The humans too are lovely people and always up for a bit chat! Even the customers are friendly, I think we exchanged greetings with everyone there, and even got to sit in a customers classic Volvo ! It simply doesn’t get any better."

I have been here a few times now and I can't fault it. Reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food, coffee and cakes are excellent. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely place! We had a delicious lunch cheese scone with bacon and egg (kind of like eggs Benedict). Very friendly staff and delicious food great stop if you’re exploring the Angus glens.

It may be out of the way but this is a fabulous wee dog friendly cafe. The food is excellent and the staff incredibly friendly. I asked for my sandwich to be served without cucumber and got what I asked for. It was full of tuna mayo and red onion with a fabulous side salad. Definitely be back.

I completely loved this place. The food was amazing great menu and delicious too. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in ages. Cakes were exceptional too. The staff were so friendly and the location, decor and general ambience was spot on. If we didn’t live 4 hours away, I’m sure we’d be regulars!!

I had a wonderful evening at one of their pop-up events, but I was surprised by how expensive it was!! £25 for a burger, 2 onion rings, 2 slices of halloumi, and half a small bowl of chips. The prices were outrageous. The food was decent, but I would expect to pay that much at a fancy restaurant in the city, not a small cafe in the countryside.

After turning up out of season when the Wee Bear Cafe was closed, we made a point of ensuring we returned during season. The wait was worth it. Great setting, great food, great staff and we even got to meet Wee Bear Super dog friendly place and the owners kindly gave us a lovely bandana for our Ollie….super touch!! Will definitely return when on our travels.

I discovered this gem of a cafe and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious with unique combinations that were expertly put together. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We were so impressed that we came back the next day and it was just as amazing. If you're in Scotland, this is a must-try!

We arrived during the transition between breakfast and lunch service, but were pleased to discover that we could order from either menu. The menu features a variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and we were impressed by the high quality of the dishes. There were some creative and unique menu items that added an element of fun to our dining experience, setting this restaurant apart from others. In addition to great food, they also host music nights and offer accommodation. We have already recommended this wonderful place to our friends.
