"I was looking forward to the meal at the White elephant as it had been some time since I had the chance to have an Indian meal. The setting and the staff are very good and on that front there is no complaint but when...it comes to the food I must say having had the opportunity to sample Indian food in many places around the world then this was very disappointing indeed. It started with the fact that the poppodons that were served were the ready made type. You can always tell as the are perfectly flat with just small bubbles on the surface. I have ordered a chicken tikka starter and that was ok but rather then come with the usual tasty fried onions they had used some pieces of cabbage which were part hot and part cold. The final straw was then the chicken korma with which you just can not go wrong but sadly it was very wrong. Somebody may want to correct me but a korma has a slightly sweet taste and the colour is a light yellow and very creamy. Mine was white with no hint of sweetness or almonds. It had pieces of almonds in it but that is as far as it went. Never in my time of eating korma some years have I tasted such a korma or seen it being that colour. Maybe I just went there on a bad day but somehow I had the feeling that it was just a poor imitation of real Indian food."

Food is very tasty and friendly staff. It's a good place for dinner and romantic inside the restautant. I think the best indian food in Offenbach. We still miss homemade ice cream .. reallt Yummy

I was feeling real hungry and me and my colleague were looking for a place of dinner. Found this place near our hotel and thought to give it a try. I could relate to the food as authentic at the same time deliciously sumptuous. Kudos...to the chef. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I felt so good I am writing this while having food. When you walk in, the first thing that you notice is that the restaurant has a typical old Indian setup. We were a group of colleagues and we ordered Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Curry, Mutton Keema Masala, Palak Paneer and Dal Tadka. The food was...served in quick time, presentation was okay and the preparation was good. We had asked for preparation in an Indian way and the food was exactly prepared that way. We would have liked the food to be spicier but no complaints as such. We liked the taste, although must say that I would not rate it as one of the best Indian restaurants in Germany. Service was always with a smile and prompt. Would go again.

I definitely dreamed of the taste of tandoori naan bread. They either buy ready naan from shop that they bake, or make the very simple dought itself that a children could prepare. No taste in naan bread without ordering one stuffed with onions. No crispy...at all! Really huge disappointing, as it was dominating factor to visit the restaurant this time (and not the main food). Serving too really really far too long, despite I was the only person in the whole restaurant! Strange. They don't speak English!
