A delightful evening?, food fantastic, staff (Tyler, Leanne, Ben and Tabby) all had time to talk and make sure we were ok despite being short staffed and very busy. Would definately like to revisit.

I had a nice meal fish-chowder to start and see bass for pornstars well presented as very tasty, my wife had a prawn on a spit to begin that she enjoyed, unfortunately her main meal a medium rare Sirloin steak came so rarely she could not eat it! offer a small discount, not good enough for a meal they cannot eat! but we would try this restaurant again, but would be very careful when you order a steak!

We had lunch at the new restaurant in Battle and were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is fantastic, and the presentation of the food was exquisite. The garnishes and mussels were of top-notch quality. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The desserts were a highlight as well; the cheesecake was simply amazing, tasting fresh and bursting with flavor, unlike the often synthetic, frozen varieties. I made a last-minute decision to stop at this ice cream shop, and I am so relieved that I was not disappointed. My only dilemma was deciding between the steak and seafood options, as both looked tempting. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring the perfect balance of service. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and only wish I lived closer so I could try more items on the menu. The portion sizes were good, but I did notice a piece of bread was missing from my mussels. I didn't mention it because overall, I was delighted with my experience. A great find!

We started our meal with a delicious seafood starter, consisting of chowder with mussels and fried squid. The chowder was creamy, the mussels were freshly smoked and very tasty, and the squid was perfectly cooked - tender and crispy. For our main course, we both ordered the old town favorite fish and chips. The fresh haddock was delicious, however, the batter could have used more seasoning. We ordered the same dish but my fish was noticeably smaller than my friend's. Overall, we enjoyed the good food and friendly service. The prices are a bit on the higher side but worth it, especially for the fresh seafood. Thank you for the great service!

The small little seafood restaurant is nestled in into the bustling George street of Hastings old town. The restaurant has ample seating both inside and out when the weather is good. There’s lots of little snuggly areas for a more private setting or you can choose to join others at larger tables. Staff are experienced and friendly and happy to advise on food choices. Food arrived timely and hot. We opted for the chowder and squid. The chowder was a decent sized portion and came stocked with plenty of seafood. The squid, which was a special was beautifully cooked.
