"We have used this restaurant many times before and sadly we are experiencing its decline. We took friends there as a birthday treat. Firstly we ordered soft drinks and received half pint glasses of barely fizzy drinks, that cost over £3 each! Then when we ordered the food, they did not have the fish sizes for our menu choices, on a Friday at 7 pm and eating in a fish restaurant! Lastly the chips were at best cool and there were more bits than chips, not restaurant standard. We shall think again before visiting."

Fish and chips was lovely, large cod and mushy peas with tartare sauce. The sweets were incredible, I gather the hostess Barbara makes the cakes herself. Absolutely yummy.

A slight lack of real ale. However, the 2 I had were well kept. The staff were busy but friendly when time allowed. The blonde waitress was very efficient and chatty. Great service!

Just had a really lovely lunch at this restaurant with some friends. The fish goujons and salad were very fresh and tasty and were followed with some very moreish chocolate cake which is made by Barbara. Very attentive staff I can highly recommend

Absolutely great place to enjoy freshly cooked food.Fantastic atmosphere in a lovely styled modern restaurant and bar. We have been many times and on this occasion celebrated my husbands 60th birthday.Wonderful sweet selection all made freshly in the restaurant and the cake that they made was outstanding.The whole experience made for a very special evening. Thoroughly recommend you try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed from the minute you arrive!
