"This is currently our go to pub for Sunday lunch when visiting family in the area, it’s cheap enough, decent food and an OK atmosphere and does a decent beer with guest beers available too. I would say for a family type eatery pub though it could do without the such high volume background music as that combined with people talking plus the noise from the TV’s in the other bar showing football made for an unpleasant experience for me. Overall the food was good as usual and service is pleasant but definitely marred by the lack of attention when billing us in not deducting the £10 deposit we’d paid to book the table, and not even a sorry when we asked for the adjustment at the bar. This was the second time in concurrent visits this had happened too. If it were my choice I’d vote with my feet and not visit again out of principle."

I would recomend the Willow Tree ,it is a great place to enjoy a pint and really great food . They are not stingy on portions . The staff are the ones who really make the place what it is ! View menu

Excellent choice of beers in a pub with a small menu I decided to have two starters rather than a main course I had the prawns and calimari and chicken wings both of which I really enjoyed. Will definitely visit again.

Had a great evening at The Willow Tree with a group of friends and family. Everybody order food which was excellent and arrived in good time and all together. Staff are friendly and professional, we felt well liked after. Will return.

It's a nice place for a reasonably priced meal, staff are lovely and has a down to earth atmosphere. But, be warned, if you get a cup of tea they will put Luke warm water in a cup with the tea bag on the side like some sort of dystopian American dinner that has never seen a kettle before. View menu

We popped in for a meal one Thursday night. Staff were really helpful, showed us to a table and bought our drinks over with a smile. Good menu with a lot of choice. I went for a medium rare steak, which was cooked perfectly, with crispy chips and onion rings! We will definitely be visiting again with family and friends!

Had a great late lunch with a friend who is a local here. I had Lamb Shank. Perfectly cooked, with thick dark gravy, just up my street. My friend had rump steak. We both commented on how filling and tasty our choices were. Really enjoyed the ambience, the service and the food. The interior is massive, but was spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed it here.
