"On our visit to the Christmas Market, we were fortunate enough to choose this restaurant for our meal. This was in the beginning of December and the weather was the typical cool and rainy weather. So we had the cliche onion soup and escargot as...appetizers. The soup was perfect for the weather and warmed us nicely. The escargot were already out of the shell and dipping bread into the garlic/butter afterwards was heaven. Had the black forrest ham with potato pancakes which was amazing. All in it was about 30 euro a person which is not cheap but worth the food and the atmosphere. Would return again. Enjoy."

This was a wonderful place to try the food of the region. the owners of this restaurant were friendly and very helpful when we asked them for help regarding the menu. Wine list was very impressive and the desserts were divine.

in a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, the alsatian restaurant offers us a generous cuisine, prepared with fresh and seasonal products (onion soup, covered sauerkraut, hamburg. authentic on our plates, a very nice establishment a few steps from the little france.

Small cosy restaurant. Friendly, personal service. Reserve or go early to get a table. Opens at 7pm.Food is good. Lamb shank did not disaapoint. Trout was done well, paired with sauerkraut, potatoes and horse radish. We tried the calf kidney - unusual dish but good. Starters - escargots and terrine with foie gras. Portions appropriate for one person (Asians).Chocolate mousse was not spectacular. Overall, a good dinner experience. Recommends. View menu

We ate at this delightful restaurant and we knew we would have to eat there again. It was that good! The choucroute garnie was the best we've had in our decades of travels in France and the jambonneau--a pig's knuckle braised in pinot wine served with heavenly fried potatoes--was fork-tender and delectable. Make sure you leave room for the desserts like the sublime profiterolles, cream puffs filled with ice-cream and doused with an irresistible hot chocolate sauce.
