As a small appetizer there was a focaccia with redberry dip and butter on the cost of the house while we studied the map. Appetizer: wild herbs salad and an ox soup were both excellent. Main course: Rehgulasch with dumplings and pricebereis, as well as octopus with herb and mushroom foam were fantastic. The only minimal point of criticism, a few pieces of the Reh's were a bit overwhelmed, but whoever has prepared wild himself knows that this is almost not to be avoided. The rest of the pieces fell on the tongue. Due to the portion sizes, there was no room for dessert. PRICE/BENEFIT: For what is offered in Franz Xaver in quality and ambience, the few Euros are more than justified for a dish than in the Munich average. A really great and spiced Bavarian cuisine! If you order three courses, you will get at least 5, as intermediate courses are suitable for the chosen one after selecting the kitchen.
