"we came by for a late lunch to try it. we walked from the marienplatz through the viktualienmarkt to come here. it was quite busy when we arrived at 1430, with all the tables full. we decided to wait for one table only, but it was a bit hard to get someone's attention, as they were all busy. we finally got the attention of a waiter and waited a bit more to provide a table. after approx. 10 minutes standing at the entrance, we were finally led to a table around the back. we sat and had menus in English. we then ordered drinks and eating to share. eating here is amazing. really delicious and the portions were not too bad. the carving and black bones were juicy and crispy. I also liked the dumplings, especially the yellow (kartoffel due to their sticky texture.) although there is a little to wait at the beginning, the waiter was very friendly and eating is really nice. a nice lunch stop in a little bit."

We just dropped in this place as it was the closest to where we were but we ended up being lucky. We ordered the wienerschnitzel with bratkartoffeln and it was one of the best I ever had. Definitely recommend it!

We visit here every year and am pleased to report it is as good as ever. There is always a great atmosphere. The beer and food are delicious and the staff are friendly and very efficient. We would highly recommend a visit but, book first!

I come to Munich 2x per year for work and this is probably my favorite Weiner Schnitzel place. I couldn’t figure out why at first but....Their secret is they use cowberry sauce instead of cranberry. It’s a little sweeter but personally I think it’s nice....I also enjoy a nice cappuccino after my meal and the bartenders make a nice one.

Not a very friendly reception. We booked for Christmas Eve and we're told that the only available time was 4pm but then found the restaurant half empty the whole time we were there. The food was traditional Bavarian. Good but gigantic helpings. Far too much...to finish even with my hearty appetite. Not much atmosphere. A bit disappointing

This restaurant is extremely busy so booking online in advance with them is a must. Service was excellent by a very personable engaged young lady. We went for her suggestion for the meat lovers which was beautifully presented and a very substantial portions for the...five of us. We were able to observe the hard working kitchen staff produce their magic in the kitchen. Again book ahead as a walk in would be next to impossible.

I went here on Sunday 15th December with my mum after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We just ignored by the staff. The waitress took half an hour to take our drink and food order. When we asked where the napkins was the waiter...look at us like we dirt and slammed open a box on table. Once our main was done we left for 45 minutes. In the end we got up and asked for the bill. To be honest we could of walked out without paying and no one would of know. It was a such a shame as the food was very nice
