Wok Experience - Menu

We ordered 7 different main dishes, all the family enjoyed. My favourite item was the crispy shredded beef. Would definitely recommend to friends family

Tried ringing on numerous occasions and they never ever answer the phone. How they get business is beyond me. What is the point in having a takeaway if people cannot ring to order

We used this place the first night of our holiday. Arrived late and therefore ordered late. The property was in a really narrow road but they still delivered free which was superb. Fantastic flavour, really hot and good size portions. Liked it so much that we ordered again two days later! Highly recommend View menu

Was told an hour and 10 mins when ordering at the takeaway, which was a small simple order. Whilst waiting lots of people came ordered and got there food after we had ordered. When we did get the food it was cold and tasteless so clearly wasn't fresh which made me question why an earth we had to wait as long as we did. Luckily only here for a weekend but would not recommend.

Finding consistently good Chinese food in this area has always been a challenge. However, we decided to give Gourmet Wok Experience a try and we were pleasantly surprised. The ribs, satay chicken, sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, vegetable noodles, and curry sauce were all excellent. The hot and sour soup was the best I've had outside of London. We were really impressed with our experience.

I waited over an hour for the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The prawn balls were simply cold prawns covered in too much dough with no crispy batter, leaving a congealed texture in my mouth. The chicken chow mein was flavorless and cold, and the prawn crackers tasted overwhelmingly of oil. I would recommend driving to Abergavenny to Sing Lee instead, where the food is quicker, better, and cheaper. View menu

During our stay at a nearby campsite, we placed an order over the phone with this restaurant. They accepted payment by card and then promptly delivered our food to our campsite. The portions were large and the food, which included chicken fried rice, vegetable chow Mein, curry sauce, and chips, was very delicious. This was the fourth time we have ordered from this takeaway and the quality of the food has consistently been good.

We had ear marked this as a takeaway night but pizza was our first choice dashed at the first hurdle by f c shop not doing pizzas anymore! Gourmet Wok Experience to the rescue. The flavours were pretty good, Singapore Chow Mein had just the right amount of kick, Chicken Cashews was nice but a little bit wet, crispy seaweed great, egg fried rice good, and Crispy Duck Pancakes really good. Quantities amazing, so worth remembering as well aligned a meal from it the next day.

It was a chilly day we were looking forward to some hot sour soup... boy, were we ever disappointed! Hot sour soup should have very few ingredients... tofu, mushrooms, onion, a few other things... it should b very thin, spicy should NEVER... EVER contain shrimp, duck, chicken or other meats! It was thick, grainy, reddish-orange actually had a few types of meat... it actually made me sick we won’t b back... I gave the place 2 stars because the fried rice vegetables were good View menu
