"We have been to Goslar many times and eaten several times in this restaurant. It is always very good, the portions are large and there is a good choice of tasty food. This time we were with our son and his partner and the vegetarian...choice for them was rather limited. Also although the menu had the English translation the staff spoke very little English so we were very glad to have our lovely German friend with us. The restaurant itself is full of character and we would definitely return. In the summer time it is a delight to eat in the garden next to the stream"

Great meal in a lovely beer garden by the river. Large range of game, well cooked, in nice atmosphere. Recommend a visit

Old converted water mill on several levels. Warm and comfortable if a little cramped in places. Can cater for large groups, couples or happy to put tables together. Good service and the food was really excellent. We went back twice

WE have eaten here several times before and considered it our favourite restaurant in Goslar. However, this time it was busy and service was at times slow, also not impressed with the kaese spaetzle, with had too much cheese and was very sticky. Good desserts still View menu

A beautiful location right beside the Stream with friendly staff and great food. Professed to serve all local ingredient and local game the menu offers a good selection of choices including a Hunters disk with three meats. A very enjoyable evening in a...very lovely town

The location is slightly off the tourist beaten path. Recommended by our host, we went there for an early dinner. The environment is nice and cosy, we chose to sit in the biergarten. The steak was nicely cooked, tender, and with good taste. I believe...the duck breast was slow cooked, tender meat with crispy skin

Sadly, the interiors are nicer than the food itself. The food I got (duck and Spätzel) seemed to be heated up, Spätzel were only warm, although I was the first dinner guest and for a good minutes the only one in the restaurant. Other...guests followed, however mainly tourists, which should be a hint. Food is not awful, but it's not super good, either View menu

We had the wild boar and the venison. Both were excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. The interior is neat. The building is very old as the proprietor will tell you. Plus it sits next to a tiny stream. Everything was wonderful, the food,...beer, desert, service and the setting. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. This was one of our best meals. Highly recommend

My dinner date and I stopped in after the smell of amazing food wafted from an open door. I was not disappointed. I had the Miner’s plate, and my date had a barbecue chicken with asparagus plate. I must say, my plate was great, hers......was just wow! Probably the best asparagus I’ve ever had, hands down. My date devoured the entire plate and was in bliss, having had it for the first time. Now she’s asking when we can visit once again. The environment was cost, the staff warm, and the wine was delightful. Please stop in, and leave happy

"Kann leider nur 3Sterne geben . war heute am07.12.24 zum Mittag hier. Ambiente gut .
