"This restaurant has the potential to be great. Its location, decor, and self-promotion are all commendable. However, the food resembles hastily assembled fast food. The young servers appear uninterested and their disdain for customers is evident. Unfortunately, this lack of enthusiasm affects the quality of the food as well. The curry is made with frozen vegetables, the homemade pizza has dry edges and insufficient toppings, and there’s a notable absence of fresh produce—a limp salad with no dressing and an overemphasis on cheap ingredients and carbohydrates. If the staff can be replaced with more cheerful individuals, this place could improve significantly. It’s such a letdown. If you enjoy fried or battered food, you might be pleased here. But if you prefer fresh and healthy options, it’s best to steer clear."

"Popped in on Saturday just after midday and had a delicious breakfast panini and a great tasting strong decaf coffee. Also had a lush chocolate and cherry cake. Everything I had was of an excellent standard, definitely great quality, excellent preparation and presentation. Come for the delicious food and stay for the great service, smiles and laughter with the genial host. Parking: Free street parking right outside. Kid-friendliness: No Children under the age of 7 and no kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: All on the ground floor and a wide enough entrance with no steps. " weeduck22 (3 reviews) Isle of Bute, United Kingdom Every time I order a takeaway from this restaurant I get a surly teenager, who frankly sounds stoned and disinterested and so detached it's like I've disturbed him from doing something he'd rather be doing like well, getting stoned and drinking Frosty Jack in the local park with his mates. He invariably gets my order wrong and tonight I had to phone and re order something once again as it didn't arrive in the original order. I waited nearly 2 hours from the original call until getting the missed item. I can only imagine that if he isn't stoned, doom scrolling his smartphone has left him with the attention span of a goldfish, hence his inability to take an order of 4 items! Also, I've phoned many times and requested a new menu as the one I have is out of date and it never materialises. You know that way when you know someone is not listening to you and and just want to get you off the phone asap yeah, that's my experience every time. They have a captive market on the island I live on so have no incentive, motivation or even the desire it seems, to provide anything like decent customer service. On a more positive note the food is adequate and they haven't poisoned me...yet... Date of visit: June 2023"

"There were three adults, two children, and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was fantastic with a wide range of choices, and the restaurant was open until 10pm. The staff were great with the kids, chatting with them and being very patient when they took a long time to decide on their meal. Overall, the dinner experience was excellent, with a price range of £10-20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a 5 out of 5. There was plenty of parking available, including free street parking options."

"After getting off the ferry, we decided to stop for coffee and ended up at this charming cafe. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and felt comfortable in the cozy atmosphere. The walls were adorned with vintage sheet music posters, adding to the ambiance. I ordered a latte, my partner got a white coffee, and my son tried a refreshing orange mixed drink that he loved. I opted for the lentil soup, which was fresh and delicious. My partner enjoyed a bacon roll, which he raved about. The chocolate fudge brownie my son devoured was homemade and served with homemade vanilla ice cream. He couldn't get enough, saying it was the best ice cream brownie he'd ever had. The owners of the cafe were also incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful visit!"
