"Unremarkable For a Friday lunchtime, it was suprising to be the only guests in the restaurant. A couple came in 10 mins later. The waitress was not the friendliest and took our orders. We took advantage of the 3 course special for £23.95 each. When my mains came, I asked for some dried chilli which was promptly brought to the table and then I asked for salt pepper and was barked at Is that everything . The starter, Calamari, was dry and stringy. The mains took a long time to come out but by now another table had arrived so maybe the chef was rushed off his feet !!! The original couple had eaten their meal and left by the time we had started our main course. We had 2 pizzas and a fish dish and they were nice but nothing special. The pudding menu on the set menu was either cheesecake or loaded with fudge or caramel, none of which appealed to me. I opted for ice cream which was very good. I recommend the blackcurrant mascarpone. In total, we were in the empty restaurant for 2 hours in order to finish a 3 course meal. I presented my Tesco voucher, only to be told a few minutes later, that I could not use it on the set menu. My fault as I should have checked the small print. I ended up forking out an extra £40 as the whole meal had to be itemised through the till. We agreed that we probably wouldn 't be returning."

The restaurant was extremely loud, with terrible acoustics that created a cacophony of loud conversations and unpleasant background music. The food and service were both average.

Food was beautiful, front of house staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive to every table but not to the extent of being annoying, perfect place to go for a meal with the family or a romantic meal.

Really impressed with this Zizzi genuinely the best pizza bases I've had, and they're always hot. It's a simple but vital element, but sometimes other pizzerias forget to make sure it happens. The right amount of choice, with plenty of vegan veg options. Top service from the staff too always with a smile and very pleasant. View menu

Waiting staff managed substitute an order for no-gluten lentil ragu with an order for no-gluten beef ragu. Perhaps they were confused by have so many allergies at the same table. However the upshot was that someone who's not eaten meet for 40 years got to eat beef. We didn't make a fuss but we did make sure that we were not charged for this error.

Sadly terrible experience. Ordered online and went to collect. Told the order had been cancelled as they ran out of one item. Couldn't refund. We had to reorder and sit and wait. What a waste of time! I had intended to pick up a gift voucher whilst collecting, but I wouldn't send anyone here. Front of house also turned away a couple who hadn't booked despite there being at least 4 tables empty.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Italian cuisine, but after finding myself in a situation where other restaurants were closed, I decided to try Zizzi's. It turned out to be a great choice as the food was fantastic. We were given complimentary crisps when we were seated, and we ordered the Chilli and Garlic Bread starter and Sea Bass main dish. I had a Diet Coke to drink. The food was served quite quickly. The Garlic bread had a nice kick of chilli and was cheesy. However, the main course was out of this world. The sea bass was served on a bed of sea salt fries and carrots, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and complemented well by the cheese sauce. Who would h... View menu

Our experience at Zizzi was terrible, we came midweek on a quiet evening and waited 10 minutes to be seated. After this it took a further 15 minutes to take our order. The sides got sent out as a starter which was very disappointing. We were then left a further half an hour without checking on us and nobody around to take our drinks order. Then we managed to flag somebody down, they got us drinks and bought over one portion of food despite ordering 2 meals. We then spoke to the manager who was stood on her phone and she was rude patronising and claimed they were busy. Busier enough for her to stand on her phone. The chef came over and told us our order had been missed. The food was cold and...

Came here last night with my Family, we booked a table and when entering the restaurant and telling the waitress our name she walked off and didn’t come back to seat us, we had to ask some else who then seated 7 of us and a high chair on a table big enough for 4 people in a rather empty restaurant. When trying to order drinks the same waitress walked off again and never came back for our drinks order. When delivering the drinks she carried one drink at a time, I know she’s not an octopus but most people are able to carry at least 2 drinks or they use a tray. The food was lovely, and we really enjoyed a meal however when the waiter cleared our plates he just moved and piled them onto an empty...
