"We’ve been to Munich many times but visited Zum Alten Markt for the first time on a recent trip. Excellent restaurant more like one you would see in a smaller Bavarian town rather than the centre of Munich. The food was excellent as was...the service. We will definitely go back in the future"

This restaurant is adorable! I wish I had discovered it sooner. The waiter was friendly and very attentive. I ordered the pork tenderloin tips with spätzle and broccoli and it did not disappoint--the sauce was delicious. A great find near Marienplatz!

Loved this place. The outdoor seating was the best I experienced with lots of space in between seats. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our waitress made great recommendations and provided excellent service. Our dining experience was perfect
