We came here with friends. The food was average and took ages to come. One of the guest had food after we all finished our dishes. No excuses from the team. The food was fatty. Definitely not my best experience in Munich.

Popped in for lunch, wanting some local food rather than eat at the plethora of local pizza restaurants. Fells like an authentic German eaterie, from the menu to the waiting staff and the locals eating there. Food portions huge, and v tasty. Would definitely go back.

My whole familty enjoyed this restaurant. Finding food that everone in the family likes can be difficult but this restaurant satisfied everyone. The food was not only good but very reasonable. In addition, the Zum Brunnstein was close to the Residence Inn and the Ost train station. Staff was friendly too. View menu

We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row. The place is one block from the train station and on the way to Residence Inn Munich East. They have English menus and the staff is willing to explain the differences. Their local beer is excellent! You will find all the locals here- but we felt very welcomed.

Horrible horrible experience. Sat at table for around 10-15 mins as waitresses went past ignoring me. When I had temerity to raise my hand to one to try and get attention, she quite literally screamed at me. Surreal, weird experience which was so bad at times I expected a candid camera secret camera to appear. Avoid. Just avoid.

Ate here on our last day in Munich. Service eventually friendly though a bit stand-offish at first. Good food and big portions. Good VFM too. Only one niggle: Took an age to get the bill at the end, which meant us missing a train to the airport. Good Authentic Bavarian cuisine. Would and will return next time we are in the vicinity. Right by the Marriott residence Inn. Very authentic, you can tell by the customers. I think we were only 1 of 2 tourists. Food was excellent and plenty. We could have shared an entre, price was definitely fair. Took 1 star off as One waitress was on the ball flying table to table. While 2 others took their sweet time making ordering and getting our bill process longer than it should be. Resturant is a bit on the old side but that gave it a local and authentic feeling. Would definitely recommend. Perfect for a quiet dinner for two or a group of friends

From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We had just arrived from a long flight from the US with suitcases in hand and in need of food and drink. The restaurant staff and patrons could not have made us feel more welcome as they helped us find homes for out luggage. Our amazing waitress kindly provided us with English menus when it was clear that we were not as conversant as we should have been. The food was very fresh and authentic and the portions were very generous. There was no effort to rush us through our meal, which allowed us to take in the manner in which locals experienced the neighborhood.

I have ordered 6 calves for 116 euro, but not paid BECOMMEN._We have recently moved (about 100m from the old apartment away) and I have unfortunately not noticed that I had not changed my address. my number also changed. once I saw that my order was canceled because I didn't get to, I contacted foodora immediately. I was sent agb and without refund my order was included. _This is robbed and was. I will never use foodora again. the restaurant has called foodora several times to reach the driver. the restaurant has offered me new order. but foodora just ate on my cost carvings. _I still can't believe that the system asks me about the food quality. the order was canceled according to foodora so...
