".. where Munich is still original Zur Lokation: Here in the valley is the local past the Hofbräuhaus. What is this target? Not far from it, Dürnbräu. Please note that this is not a brewery, but a guest house. By marrying Gabriel Sedlmayr with Anna Rosalie, Dürnbräu became the property of the spat brewery. The brewery in the valley was closed, but the Schankwirtschaft Zum Dürnbräu remained. The new building of today's host house dates back to 1986. The outdoor and indoor area is clean, clean, well maintained. Inside is room for about 120 to 140 guests. Guess 15 tables are inside. Tables, chairs wall covering everything is dark, probably everything is massive. Beautiful decoration walls. The long table series is unique, with benches. The big round table impressed me. In Cronazeiten, helpful .. there are two terraces. Outside the gastronomy, one in front of the house (street) and one in the farm. Inenhf? Yes, despite the rush in the old town, this is a retreat. Kitchen and cabinets: Traditional cuisine is advertised as a brand. True, but unfortunately there are no traditional dishes and also non-bayric drinks. Playable: Bavarian and traditinell .. Pork roast, Obazda, sour bread dumplings, veal fertilizer, old Bavarian beer bread soup with roasted onions, beef broth with homemade liver dumplings, table top, fresh pork crust roasts in dark beer sauce, white sausage, bread bark, laurel liver. The Wiener Schnitzel, all steaks, the colorful seasonal salad, the salad composition in the horseradish with salmon, the Bratbeef with Remoulade sauce, the matjesfilet according to housewife type etc. My Gusto: Old Bavarian beer bread soup with roasted onions, acid lungs (from the calf) with semmelkn Also the pork roasts in dark beer sauce with potato dumplings. The rear pork groves should also be tried. Drinks: Tradtionel is drunk in Bavaria soda and beer. The lemonade used to get out of the barrel, like the beer. Beer in Bavaria was always a dark or a white (hot wheat beer, preferably dark roasted). It is to be praised that there is a lemonade from the barrel. Radler, Russians, a lion brown triumphant (a dark strong beer). And a Franciscan white beer, dark, lion brown, dark. Think in a trade. Economy, you should just try the traditional drink and food. Everything else is neither tradition nor Bavarian, really not. Except fruit and liquor. Reference quality: It is carefully and professionally proven. It is also treated correctly and very politely with our guests. The staff wears costume. Also the junior host. It may be advantageous if you control the flowing Bavarian dialect (grips). But Hochdeutsch goes too. Good to know: Often you can get a staff of the City Hall meeting. Here too, frequent student connections have their meetings there. Promises are more common here. Only you can see it very rarely as a guest. It is because the boss assigns these special places where they are relatively undisturbed. FGoing with the toilet and forging arograms usually does not work. If you are here at the right time, you can see walking elements of the female table. Ladies' table? Yeah, a really good idea. What I particularly like is the meetings of seniors. Mostly only women. Mostly for lunch. Yeah, they let the old days live. I couldn't talk about it even though I still know the Dürnrbräu as it was in the valley of 21war. And yes, in the sixties the beer was a lot more biller. It was only for me that there was only lemonade."

long story short: not come as tourist our friends sat five minutes in front of us, and were threatened to kick out when we did not show up.

Classic Bavarian restaurant with typical local specialities. Very delicious food in large portions. Excellent and very friendly service. The currently offered meadow beer is highly recommended! View menu

Typical Bavarian restaurant. Cosy, nice staff that is still funny in stress and is not able to answer. Eating also ok, both quality and portion. A little expensive, but what is not expensive in Munich????

Nice typically Bavarian restaurant, on a human scale and with friendly service. Special mention for the ham which was, against all expectations, a real culinary discovery for me, so different with its crispiness from what I had tasted before.

The Dürrnbräu is a very beautiful Bavarian host house. It is a bit hidden in the old town of Munich but the way is worth it. At least for all those who prefer traditional hearty dishes. For vegetarians I would not recommend the place! There are then better alternatives in Munich: View menu

In a small side street off the valley is this real Bavarian restaurant. In the interior there are traditional guesthouse tables with benches and chairs. The services in Bavarian costume are very fast and friendly. There is no long waiting time here. The classic pork roast was one of the best I've eaten so far. Soft and juicy, garnished with a piece of baked pork crust. A super herb salad and as an appetizer a cattle force broth with a liver dumpling. It's a good light! Price performance is excellent.

The fact that the Dürnbräu is one of the oldest restaurants in Munich is not immediately apparent when you have found the hidden access to the same alley and finally is in front of the building. Inside, however: darkly decorated guest room, long tables, old original lights, all very original. The Bavarian food is usually very meaty, you know it) is impeccable and beautifully dressed. Since a change in the number of nights, however, the prices have grown significantly upwards. The services are friendly and correct. Particularly noteworthy: a nice little guest garden welcomes its guests and offers them some rest away from the buoyant large restaurants all around. There is also a hidden garden...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
