"This restaurant has a nice, bavarian ambience inside and a medium biergarten outside. The menu looks very interesting but most dishes are only served in the evening; for lunch there is a very limited choice. The food is good, nothing less, nothing more. The service is very inattentive although there were two waitresses serving only some 10 tables; one wouldn't even pass on an order to the colleague but tell you that she is not serving your table. Empty glasses will only be cleared if there is no more space on the table. The location is nothing special either, and if in the biergarten you will see and hear the city and regional trains passing every 20 minutes or so. Not particularly good value for money."

Very popular in Solln - Munich south. The beer garden in summer is excellent. The food choice is not huge but tasteful. View menu

The perfect combination of great cuisine and Bavarian cosiness. Had a variety of dishes (from bread to Sunday roasts) and all were magnificent, so various reviews could not be traced. Come back.

Operators are scary friendly, yet to this is the original atmosphere in perfect harmony with the food in the inn! Not to forget there is a brunch of childcare on Sundays, which makes the stay there more beautiful and varied. Again and again :

Thanks for the great Christmas dinner today! It is simply always beautiful with you, the atmosphere is very family and so a friendly service you really have to find first. Except for the super quality of food! Perfect from the front to the back. Always happy View menu

Very delicious food, cozy ambience and very nice staff. Every Sunday there is a brunch that is really recommended. Everything is freshly prepared and the selection is varied and tastes excellent. On the warmer days, the beautiful beer garden is also recommended, where you can relax from everyday life. Absolutely recommended. My favorite restaurant

Zum Sollner Hirschen is a nice little restaurant with a great beergarden outside - not too big, which adds to the nice ambience. Decorated with attention to detail, this is the place to go to in the evenings to meet friends for a drink, a chat and some delicious Bavarian specialities. We opted for all-time favourites like pork roast, salmon trout and roast chicken. The portions are very generous and you cannot go wrong here. Our watiress was ever to attentive - can only recommend this place.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
