"Our first choice restaurant was booked up so we chose to eat here as it was close to where we were staying and looked ok (we hadn't checked Tripadvisor!). It wasn't an altogether terrible experience, but I cannot recommend it. The food was nothing special but was ok. But what on earth was going on with the wine? We asked for a Red recommendation and the waiter recommended the most expensive. Alarm bells. But what was also odd was that he said it was cheaper to buy it by the glass rather than by the bottle. In the end we bought glasses totalling 75cl (a bottle's worth), but we never saw the actual bottle that the wine came from (though an unopened bottle of the alleged "same" wine was brought to the table for us to see on request). For a recommended wine it was very disappointing, and certainly not as good as the cheaper glass of Merlot chosen by another member of our group. Then it came to paying the bill and guess what, they don't accept credit cards or even debit cards. They seemed unaware that in 2016 the cashless society is the norm and if they don't accept cards they need to make this clear at the door and on the menu. I then had to ask where the nearest ATM was. It was 5 mins away so I left the restaurant while the remainder of the party stayed, but when I got to the ATM it was out of order. So when I returned to the restaurant I then had to borrow money from our guests - very embarrassing. So my suggestion is don't go here unless it's a last resort."

Confortable place, great location. Kind and efficient Staff. Good pizza, wood oven cooked. Optimal quality/price ratio. I reccomend it.

The Service is absolutely terrible and unfriendly. Unbelievable that this Restaurant still exists. The food was OK but absolutely nothing special. For emergencies and take aways it's fine. View menu

We had two different pizza's, a salad and a pasta which were all good and had reasonable price. Our service was good. Clean and in hot summer days also cool toilets. Also a biergarten nearby.

In the tourist area but off the main street, this little place was very nice. We had calzones and Wiener Schnitzel. Both were very good Prices were very reasonable. Outdoor seating in good weather.

Service very good, food "bratwurst " was not a real bratwurst but a cheaper version being sold at eye watering prices. €8.90 when five cost €2.72 I wouldn't have minded if they had been the real deal, but to pay full price for sub standard food is wrongApart from that a great day out View menu

The waiter brought the wrong food, then argued with us trying to prove that he hadn't made a mistake. He was aggressive and completely unwilling to admit his mistake and tried to insist we ate the entirely different meal that he brought. Once another waiter came over everything was sorted out, but we would definitely never go back.

Although the sign at the door says pizza, we found this to be an excellent fish restaurant. We were treated to a very delicious and huge fish platter for two. The salmon especially was most delicious, but the other fish was tasty as well, with a heavy helping of vegetables. The Montenegran waiter was charming and all in all the Southern Slavic hospitality of the staff was worthy as well. And the price was amazingly reasonable. A very fine experience in Lindau!

"My wife and I went first time to this restaurant after recommendation from the place where we stayed overnight, some 3 km away. The beer-garden was nearly full and there were only three tables left when we arrived at 6pm. We sat in the sun, order a glass of Kerner wine (which was excellent) and a typical bavarian Weissbier. The menu showed Spargel and my wife ordered the same with chicken and I had a "Zwiebelriostbraten" )beef fillet with roasted potatoes and fried onions). Food was very good, the beef nearly to the point - as I ordered medium, it was a little overdone - but tasty and of excellent quality. We ordered some more Kerner wine and, unfortunately, had tp wait about 10 minutes until we received the new filled glasses. Meanwhile the whole beer-garden was filled up with guests and a lot of people had to go inside the "Gasthof" to have dinner as there was no place outside anymore. We had for dessert a "Süssser Traum" which was a home-made apple strudel with vanilla ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce. Nice to see that it was served with two spoons and forks without asking for it. My wife and I enjoyed the dessert and were a little unhappy with the espresso served afterwards as it was too much coffee with little foam and had nothing to do with the italian espresso. The waitress, a lady at around mid 40s, and another younger waitress seemed to be a little stressed because of the full beer-garden and therefore, maybe, the service was not what we expected. Still, the lady serving us had her nose a little too high up."
