"Was visiting Exeter Westpoint for a few days and booked here for Dinner on the Thursday night. Staff were super friendly, organised and the food was well cooked, delicious and there were plenty of options available on the menu. The experience was so good that we booked for the Friday and Saturday nights too. Desserts were also delicious! Lots of locals drinking and eating always means its a good place to frequent. Free parking behind the pub available as well. Highly Recommended. Make sure you book though as its a very busy pub."

"Really nice food. Great new owners who have are really friendly and accommodating. Some have said the food is pricey and whilst it is probably above average pricing, the ingredients are all top notch and where possible, locally sourced. You get what you pay for. We ate here about a dozen times over the summer, mainly with visitors from the SE. They all said what a brilliant place it was and wished it was their local! Well done for the turnaround and all the new innovations."

"My partner and I stopped by this restaurant on our way back to our cottage after taking our dog for a walk along the river across from the pub. They were only serving roast pork or beef for lunch, so we decided to order three beef lunches. As someone who is gluten-free, I was able to eat everything except for the Yorkshire Pudding, which I gave to my partner. The meals were all delicious and the bartender was very friendly and talkative. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Colyford or stopping at the Seaton tram stop, as it is conveniently located next door."

"Our experience at the Cranberry Inn last Sunday night for a family gathering was absolutely terrible. The hostess informed us that ten dishes on the menu were not available, which was very disappointing. When we ordered drinks, the waitress informed us that they didn't have what we wanted and brought us something else without asking. The food we ended up ordering was subpar, with my kofta being rubbery and the main course being tasteless and served cold. The overall dining experience was so poor that we decided to skip dessert. We have visited this pub before and had good experiences, but this time was exceptionally bad. It seems like there may have been a change in staff or chef, but regardless, it was a night with our extended family that was completely ruined. We will not be returning to eat there again."

"This pub is fantastic with a great atmosphere. The average price per person is between £10-20. The food quality is excellent, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The service is also top-notch, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 score. The overall atmosphere of the pub is also rated a perfect 5 out of 5."

"excellent customer service and cozy atmosphere of roast was a great disappointment that remained with a full dish and empty bubble! we weren't charged for the meal, only soaked up to the team for that, but it wasn't exactly what. we had hoped. go home to make an omelette on a Sunday! beef should not be gray and spuds felt as if they were left last Sundays! granular! I assume that was because they are kept warm in a very dirty looking hot teller for far longer than necessary the gravure!? .. bizarre! Thickness, irritation and quite tasteless! give them not inferior tasty thick crispy chemically based gravure it will, but certainly not for me! I'm a discombobulatory, how people roar about the quality, because it was simply extremely unsatisfactory. real shame, I don't expect this bad quality at this price! maybe at the hare and hounds. queue angry answer from the extremely unprofessional manager. this will only be his business going on hills when customers read by peters reply. it will be a fleeting and personal dig as the rest of its rebüts. never! oh, and clean her loos wee stinks if not cleaned"

"My biggest criticism is that Yeungs is cash only. There are often unsavoury reasons for businesses to operate this way. Otherwise, a perfectly adequate takeaway. The food is not consistently good but overall it is okay. Prawn Crackers were greasy, egg fried rice was mostly lacking egg, conversely the crispy beef is really rather nice. I'd be tempted to return if they accepted card payments. Service: Take out"

"During our recent stay at Devon Cliffs holiday park, we decided to treat ourselves to a Chinese takeaway from Wing Sing on our last night. To our pleasant surprise, it turned out to be the highlight meal of our holiday! Despite the initial perception of it being somewhat pricey, the generous portion sizes made it clear that it was actually great value for money. We ordered the house special rice, battered kung po chicken, and barbecued spare ribs in barbecue sauce. The house special rice was particularly outstanding, with large slices of roast pork and chicken, plenty of prawns, peas, and barbecue sauce. The service was fast and the staff member was polite and efficient. We highly recommend Wing Sing and will certainly be returning in the future. A perfect 10/10 rating from us!"

"This was one of the worse meals I have had in several years, parts were still raw like the batter on the chicken pieces for the sweet and sour. The sweet and sour source was like very runny water with little taste. The egg fried rice was so stoggie it had no taste and lumpy. The mushroom and chicken was I cold just as if the hot mushrooms had been added to cold chicken and a stock which I could not identify. Will I return for another take away, no."

"You have to go to this place to experience the best cup of tea ever freshly brewed from real leaves (and I mean leaves, not your smashed up bits you buy in the supermarket). And the scones were fabulous (we had cherry and almond) large and crumbly and oh so soft and the jam so fresh! Next time we will have lunch there as the Panini sounded fabulous."

"3 of us visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny day in Sidmouth. The place was clean. Warm friendly welcome given along with details of the place was operating as now re- opened after lockdown. Track trace slips issued. We opted for beer battered fish chips with peas and tartare sauce. The menu also offers smaller portions of main courses which is great when you have a senior with you as they find it off-putting when you get a huge plate of food in front of you. Good friendly service. Value for money."

"Café route conveniently located minutes away from Dalston Junction overground station. My friend and I didn’t quite expected what we would find. Café route welcomes us with open arms, the space was large well lit from the natural light from the windows. From the far end, an open kitchen exposes the chefs at work Café route serves, breakfast, lunch, dinner and have a bakery, opened every single day of the week. We came during lunch hours; the menu periodically changes according to the seasons and ingredients they can course My friend and I both choose a main plus two salads to accompany the dish, but first we shared a cup of olives. Once the food came we were shocked with how...read more"

"I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. They were upfront about not having a chef at the moment but recommended nearby restaurants which was helpful. They did serve delicious cooked breakfasts in the mornings. The room was cozy and comfortable, well-heated which was nice during the cold weather. The building is old so there is no double glazing, leading to condensation in the mornings and a slightly damp smell. However, they cleaned and wiped the windows daily. The bathroom was ok, with a deep bath but low water pressure making it inconvenient to fill. The room was quiet despite the busy pub in the evenings. Overall, it's a good option for a quick visit to family, but not ideal for a luxurious mini-break."

"The Vine Inn Pub and Tearooms may be found at the end of Vine Passage. It's Honiton's equivalent to Platform 9¾ in Harry Potter. At one end is the bustling High Street of our special little Town, and at the other is the peaceful Oasis of the Vine Inn's Garden and it's Warm Friendly Inn and Tearoom. The Vine is homely and unpretentious and renowned for its Home Cooked Lunches and local Otter Ales served from barrels behind the bar. Most folk prefer to sit in the Pub area and order from the Bar, rather than in the more Spartan Tearoom itself. Oddly, they don't serve Bacon or Sausage Sandwiches which would probably increase their business, so our preferred Breakfast/Brunch order is their Cheese on Toast, which is delicious and so very moreish. Their Home made Cottage Pie is also highly recommended. Tip If you order a pot of Tea, always ask for a jug of Hot Water as well. The only negative is their tasty but overpriced Deserts at £7.25. The entrance to Vine Passage is between the Specsavers Shop and Desire Jewellers, but please keep it to yourself!"

"This is a wonderful little gem of a restaurant. I visited with some friends last night for a Christmas gathering, and we were impressed right from the beginning. The cozy dining area felt intimate and inviting. The menu consisted of dishes made with simple ingredients but cooked with great care. We tried venison, turkey, gravadlax, sausages, soup, profiteroles, and cheesecake, and every dish was delicious. What topped it all off was the very reasonable prices. We were full after three courses, and it only cost £33 each. I also appreciated that we were asked to pre-order our meals, which showed that the chef cares about reducing food waste. I would recommend this place to anyone. Bravo!"

"We've ordered a few times and always been ok. This time was awful and we won't be ordering again. They advertise Diet Coke but then send Pepsi, my kebab was so soggy it disintegrated, so couldn't be eaten properly, it was inedible. I called the resturaunt to see if I could get some money back and whoever I spoke to on the phone was so rude, he really needs to learn customer service. He told me to deal with Just eat if I was unhappy really helpful and 5 start customer service!"

"Decided to take a visit to get some lunch. I think I might have been better off using the app to order. The missus and I were looking forward to our tasty treat we even ordered apple pies. We were shocked to find the Fillet o fish had half a slice of cheese which was mostly hanging out of the bun. My double quarter pounder turned out to be a normal quarter pounder. Then imagine our surprise when the apple pies we ordered tasted suspiciously like sweet chilli chicken wraps with not much filling! Spent the afternoon with indigestion...."

"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, enjoying delicious, healthy, and visually appealing meals served in a friendly yet professional manner. The restaurant is dog-friendly, with a view of the deli section and the city. It is evident that locals enjoy meeting here for coffee, cake, and entertainment. Our server, William, was excellent and made sure that we had a great meal, even providing water and a treat for our Yorkshire Terrier. We felt very welcomed and were not rushed to leave our table. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves spending two hours at lunch. The restaurant offers great food at a reasonable price and is perfect for those seeking beautifully prepared healthy meals in a relaxed and organic atmosphere. As a bonus, guests receive a 10% discount on items from the deli and store. We will definitely be returning for dinner."

"We have been twice to the Dolphin, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both meals were extremely well cooked and used quality ingredients. The large breakfast was a real feast to keep you going all day. When we went for lunch we had the halibut from the specials board and it was superb. Can't wait for them to get their licence and to be open in the evenings. With some background music and candles, it will help build an atmosphere. The new Dolphin is a very welcome addition to the town from our perspective and we will be going back."

"Nice pub/restaurant, wonderful friendly staff, great food, i choose a vegi option of mixed vegetables with quorn and basmati rice for about £8. 50,my friend had cold sliced beef with chips and salad for £5.50.
