"We booked a double room for one night due to works in the home, the price was reasonable and included a very nice Lion Full English breakfast with toast tea coffee fresh orange juice, with a selection of jams and marmalades, staff were very accomodating and nothing was to much trouble. enjoyed an evening meal. The room we stayed in had on suite double bed TV tea and coffee making facilities, had a peacfull nights sleep waking rested. we even popped back the next day at lunchtime for something to eat, if your passing by drop in as its a hidden gem, its now my local"

"Went there for the first time owner didn’t mention that some items were off the menu until I tried to order them. The latte I ordered was luke warm but at least it tasted nice. Ran out of muffins and didn’t tell my friend until her food arrived. The avocado on my plate was served upside down and upon turning it over, I found it to be very brown. When I informed the waiter, instead of taking my dish away and discarding the rotten avocado, he served me a new peice on a small side plate. Too expensive and won’t be returning for food if afraid. What a shame as the cafe itself is lovely"

"we were for a night in the bell, while visiting g family in chipping sodbury. the greeting we recite was excellent and the review was easy. we were shown up to our room 4 by the friendly manager who could not do for us anymore. the room was spacious, light and well furnished. it was also clean and well presented. we had a strong Wi-Fi signal, a large flat screen sky tw and tee and coffee accessories. the bed was very comfortable and there were many kisses. the breakfast was included in the £85 per night room price with everything you can imagine and more on the menu. we got no chance to eat from the day menu, but the brittle wine prepared for Sunday dinner looked out and smiling amazingly that it knistert! mmmm! absolutely no complain! we're coming back!"

"I recently visited this quaint garden center, and was impressed by the wide variety of high-quality plants available for purchase. The entire facility is well-maintained, with a lovely assortment of gifts and clothing items also on offer. The cafe on the premises has a smaller menu, but with the chef's unique touch, it is sure to please any palate. The atmosphere is charming and inviting, and I am eager to return to try the breakfast menu."

"If you drive to this pub make sure you pay for parking!! After popping in for a drink we will never return. It is not clear that you have to tell the pub you have parked to obtain free parking and no one in the pub asked. The atmosphere was great and staff friendly however going just over an hour we had a £100 fine!!! We tried to call the pub but they didn’t want anything to do with it and after sending evidence to the parking company they also stated we should have informed the pub. A very expensive drink with friends but what has disappointed me more is that both the pub and parking would not even entertain trying to help."

"I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, but my recent impromptu visit was a disappointment. We were seated quickly, but then chaos ensued as other couples were seated and orders were taken before ours. After waiting for at least 50 minutes, our side orders arrived and promptly disappeared when they realized our mains had not been cooked. We waited another 20 minutes before our food finally arrived. The lamb chop I ordered was disappointing for the price of £28 with no sides. My mother's pork tenderloin was overcooked and not tender. Despite the long wait and subpar food, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the situation. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"In search of a meal in the vicinity after arriving for a 4 day family teip, we found this on google and with good reviews, called and luckily they had a table for 8 of us last minute Friendly welcome and told to sit wherever we wanted. Nice big table and loads of board games available to keep thenkids entertained as well as Prince Fluffy Balls the rescued pub cat. So fruendly and cuddly, on your lap and fell asleep. He is also a cheeky chappy and attempts to help himself to food from your plate. Stadf were very attentive tho and quickly removed him if he was being naughty so we could eat but whilst waiting we enjoyed his antics and cuddles. He even had a nap together with my mum at the table. Food was delicious, we had the Macaroni cheese, a vegan tapas board, a fish tapas board and a quesadilla. All were big enough and tasty. Desserts were varied and also tasty. All in all a very pleasant fun evening out with the family befire it was back to the glamping site."

"I had a fantastic roast at this restaurant a few months ago, so I decided to try a celebrity meal last weekend. Unfortunately, the roast this time was disappointing, and the other meals were quite underwhelming as well. After I had to inquire about an allergy concern, my meal didn’t include the dessert I had requested and was pretty dry. To make matters worse, the main dish I ordered was missing, and out of the two I had ordered, only one ended up arriving. While it was very hot when served, it was still less than satisfactory. Overall, I left feeling disappointed."

"Booked for a 70th Birthday last year and was so impressed i booked again for it this year. I write this review based on both visits to be fair to the place as they had some 'issues ' this time. Apparently they had some sort of flood so their pumps were out and only had one ale out of a on-the-bar barrel and fizzy drinks from a bottle. As only one of us was drinking alcohol and was happy with the ale, that was ok, but the other drinks were flat and warm. Previous visit though was 100%, no issues so will assume normally would be ok and we just had bad luck. The food was excellent both visits with the exception of the mushrooms in the mushroom sauce with the chicken supreme, they were really tough and i had to leave them. My only other comment on the food is that the menu hasn 't changed in that year and is maybe a little limited. The service was good. Both times there was just one person out the front, but as it 's a hotel, he was also the receptionist. Both times we visited for a 19:00 table we were the only ones in the restaurant, but the guy frequently had to leave for 10-15 minutes to deal with things in the hotel so we had to wait for ordering more drink. I dread to think how it would have been had more people been in the restaurant. The guy this time was new to the job so was a bit slow, but the previous time there was no waiting despite the man being alone. The whole building is 13th century with bits built on over the last 4-500 years. Yes, there 's a bit of scaffolding holding up a beam in the bar area, but apart from that it 's really amazing how well it 's all lasted. Last year the receptionist gave as a 'guided tour ' and was able to explain exactly what was what and from when. It 's a really interesting place, sadly we had forgotten most of it and this time the guy didn 't know quite so much, but after 4 weeks in the job, he had clearly been taught a lot. Overall, it 's maybe a little over-priced, but i 'll be back next year..."

"Thoroughly enjoyed the Prosecco Afternoon Tea at the Itchycoo Bar and Grill in the Radisson Blu Edinburgh. Staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. My friend felt unwell at the latter end of our afternoon and staff couldn’t have been more attentive in looking after us. Will most certainly be back."

I don't attend as much as I used to due to the really, really baffling policy they introduced on a match day which was designed to cash in and did not take into consideration people like me and my wife who used to come without fail, booking in advance, every home game. "I had never visited this venue before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It was so beautifully presented and delicious. The friend I was with, and I had 2 starters each instead of a main course I loved the soft shell crab tempura and then the eggs Benedict with Parma ham. Steve, the chef told me how to poach an egg the way he had done. I have yet to try it but he made it sound simple. We would definitely go again."

"We 'd eaten at St Giles before, and this felt a very different experience. The menu pitches itself more as bar meals than a full restaurant experience, and it does feel more like that. I did stand waiting to be noticed at the entrance for about 5 minutes. Then thankfully my wife realised I must be there as she was already at the table! Wine menu was reasonably priced, and the Rioja reserva we chose was fruity and tasty. My steak was pretty well cooked and tasty. My wife 's surf and turf was not quite right no choice taken on how the steak was cooked, and the lobster tail was overcooked. Also had to remind our server that chips had been promised with that surf and turf as they didn 't arrive. Very quiet. Only one group in the bar when we arrived for an early table. Service was unusual but did the job. With other great choices in Norwich I 'm not sure wed go back. A shame as we have great memories of fabulous meals in the previous version of this restaurant."

"Excellent front of house service. Good quality ingredients very well cooked. I started with scallops which I really enjoyed. Venison did me and pork for my wife. The pork was declared as a very nice meal. My venison was a substantial piece of meat, perfectly cooked with grilled tomato and mushroom. As I'm in a keto diet my chips were replaced by a leaf salad which was fresh. My wife then had a sweet thing and I had the cheese board. I believe that the cheeses are locally produced and are very good. Overall, a great experience."

"Friend of mine staying here right now and is scared! She just had 3 men knock on her door there’s no peep hole to check who it is, no door stopper to close the door so it won’t fully open. She was terrified as they tried to speak to her and luckily her instinct to shut the door kicked in otherwise who knows where that could have went. No one has picked up at reception/front desk and she is terrified and will be up all night making sure nothing happens to her ready to dial the police if someone knocks again. This is totally unacceptable, they need security or other security measures in place to avoid this."

"We prebooked for Sunday lunch several weeks ago. We arrived in good time and were shown to our table. Unfortunately, we waited 1 hour 15 mins for three roasts due to two staff not turning up. Chap behind bar apologetic and we were given free drinks . The food was worth the wait though. Delicious. Good choice of veg, plenty of gravy and I chose the pulled pork. Unusual but yummy. Homemade yorkies. Large portion."

"The service we received was not great. The waiting staff appeared uninterested in what we wanted and did made us feel like a ‘chore’. My food was cold and my friend’s food was on a minute slate tray which made it impossible for her to eat and keep the food on the plate. There was no crushed ice for my mojito and we felt rushed out, despite it not being full. Very disappointing and will not be returning."
