Service was very good. Food was ok. We ordered a variety of small plates.

the salat with huh, avocado and mango was excellent. beautiful atmosphere, good service.

We’d previously overlooked this bar as an add-on to the Radisson Blu Hotel, situated on the Royal Mile but we had a great meal on our visit, there was plenty to choose from and the cocktails were very tasty.

I went here with mama in the afternoon tee and while it was good, I had better. the choice of sandwiches was slightly limited, but they made a great effort to take into account my breast milk allergy. the food was very tasty and the service was good, they even gave us kartons to go some of our cakes.

for this place we have booked one of the living social high teas, and the personal could no longer come before. an hour before we arrived, we called to ask if we could add an additional person (for additional costs) they liked to do. the food is presented beautifully on small wooden display, with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes, also for vegetarian! we loved the miniature band-offeepis. the service was friendly and the team has our left overs (we were filled) to take away. the money.

I am a sucker for an online deal voucher, and if somewhere on my listing functions on one of these websites, I must buy it naturally. this voucher was on groupon and was £14 for a afternoon tee for two people (half price). our hot drinks came first while we waited for our firm to arrive, coffee for crab and hot chocolate for me. the drinks came with a chocolate wafer on the side that was one of the highlights for me. once immersed in my drink, the chocolate in the inner delicious gooey and melted in my mouth. we had a good start!

Itchycoo is a restaurant bar with a new food menu that focuses on fresh local produce. We started with deep-fried softshell crab and a mixed salad (featuring dried cranberries, walnuts, and blue cheese). For mains (which we both particularly enjoyed) it was pan fried sea bass and rump of lamb. Dessert was a dark chocolate tartlet and something called munch (which turned out to be many little tasty desserty things on a plate). Many items on the menu can be ordered as either main or starter portions, which I thought was a lovely idea. We were recently invited down to Itchycoo Bar to try out their new Sea, Field, Farm and Heaven menu. We'd previously overlooked this bar as an add on to the Radisson Blu Hotel, situated on the Royal Mile. Not that we have anything against hotels, we love nothing more than an overnight stay, it's just that we don't often visit them only for food. I visited Itchycoo this afternoon with a friend and we had a lovely afternoon, so much so that we stayed and chatted in the lounge for several hours whilst savouring our afternoon tea and cocktails. I love the tradition of afternoon tea, and it is always fantastic to indulge in an afternoon of eating sandwiches, scones, and cakes. Itchycoo has taken the afternoon tea to a new level by letting you bypass the actual tea (or coffee and skipping directly on to the cocktails.
