"There was absolutely nothing wrong with our food. However, it was very busy and staff had obviously forgotten all about an elderly lady at the next table to us. She was having trouble attracting the attention of staff so I said, ‘ Excuse me, this lady has been waiting to be served.’ One member of staff snapped at me that they were all ‘running around like headless chickens’. It later transpired that no one had written the lady’s table number down therefore no one had come to take her order. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially on busy days, but the attitude of the member of staff who snapped at me was not really acceptable. This was our first visit and will, unfortunately, be our last."

"We got to Medora before the tourist season started, so lots of the restaurants were closed. Out of the places we could chose from, I think we chose well. Hubby and I shared the Pretzels Dips 3 soft large pretzel sticks served with beer cheese, cream cheese, and a chokeberry jelly. Beer cheese was served cold, which is not my preference. But all the dips were nice. The pretzel was yummy. I opted for the Brussel sprout tacos absolutely divine! The Brussel sprouts were charred perfectly. Drizzled with a chipotle aioli. Such a good dish! I would eat this anytime . Hubby got the White Buffalo chicken sandwich hoagie roll, pulled chicken with white Buffalo sauce, coleslaw. Very yummy! Satiating, satisfying, happy food served here! Super casual vibe, unique food (at least what we chose), with quick and friendly service loved it!"

"I highly recommend visiting this coffee shop! I came here for breakfast after spending some time in the children's area. We ordered pancakes with maple syrup, a veggie breakfast, and a roll with egg. Everything was freshly made to order and tasted amazing. The meal wasn't greasy at all, and the coffee was excellent. I can't wait to try their lunch menu next. I will definitely be back!"

"This is definitely my favorite breakfast spot in the world! What’s not to adore? The bagels are mind-blowingly delicious, made with the freshest ingredients and a unique, rich combination of flavors and textures. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you prefer salt beef, mushrooms, smoked salmon, or even banana with peanut butter. And don’t get me started on the sweet pastries—they're absolutely incredible! I always order the pastel de nata along with another sweet treat to share with my husband. Plus, the amazing views around Royal William Yard make enjoying this delicious food even more special."

"If you're looking for affordable takeout, this is the place to go! I order takeaway meals from here every 2 weeks, ranging from chips to half/half meals, and I have to say, it's decent, tasty, and satisfying. It may not be the fanciest takeaway spot, but it's budget-friendly and enjoyable. However, I do think that if you spend over £40, they should provide free forks or spoons instead of charging 5p for each. Parking isn't the best either - although there is a large carpark at Asda next door, it can be difficult to find a close spot, especially in the rain. The lot can be a bit messy with potholes. For my favorite order of half curry and half fried rice, it only costs £4.20, which is a great price for the tasty selection they offer. I would give this place a 7 out of 10."

"Pret at Bicester offers a great range of vegetarian and vegan options, including soy and coconut milk choices. The food is delicious, there are plenty of dietary options available, and the staff is very friendly. The cafe is clean and tidy with good accessibility. You really can't go wrong dining here."

"This cafe is set up like a rest stop between major travel points on the A811 between Stirling and Balloch. The food here is fairly standard traditional British style cafe. There's the usual range of made to order fried food or cold filled sandwiches, plus Italian coffee. I got two fried egg sandwiches although there are plenty of meat options), plus a latte. The food is fine for what it is. The price is well above average for this kind of fare, but then it's also a roadside style cafe and these usually are a bit more. The latte I got was okay. The cafe has all the social distancing procedures in place and there's a one customer inside the cafe at a time rule. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been nicer. Currently, all of the seating is outdoor with a mix of smoking and non-smoking seats. The cafe is effectively on a lay-by, but clearly visible from the road. Parting is mostly on the lay-by. A reasonable stop if you need a break driving and it really is a convenient stop on A811. Also, there are male and female toilets, but costs 20p to get in. Otherwise there's no need to go out of the way to eat here. Had it been cheaper, I would've given it an extra star."

"I am sad to write this review. But I think it will help the manager realise there's an issue. We found the staff to be a little disconnected and not personable. A little shocked the order came to £27!! But had high hopes. The food came quickly and we couldn't help but laugh. The weird combination of nachos and coleslaw was baffling... and my partners soup was stone cold. Someone forgot to turn the soup kettle on? Or microwave?? Anyway. We won't be back unfortunately unless there's a drastic menu redesign. Pond was nice"

"We invariably come here. After watching the cricket at Lords, twenty minutes walk away, we stop by for dinner on the way to Paddington, for the trip back to the West Country. It is important to book ahead if you want to be sure of a table. This place is very popular and fills up quickly for good reason. Read on.For a few years here was the only purveyor of this nations food and even now, one of only a half dozen or so restaurants from Burma (Myanmar) It really is a good find the Mandalay in Edgware Road. For those not familiar with Burmese cuisine, they draw their inspiration from surrounding countries, but roughly, if you think of a combination of Indian Chinese, you won’t be far wrong and this should hit the right taste buds for most of us. Curries, rice or noodle dishes, salads and fried snacks are combined into innovative dishes with herbs and spices, hot, sweet or sour that will delight your palette. Also there is no shortage of original dishes for those who prefer vegetarian options. This summers day (June 2016) having watched England make a somewhat slow start against Sri Lanka on the first day of the Third Test, we stopped by to find the place redecorated, with high backed chairs and a more tastefully minimalist decor. There had been a revamp of the menu also, but our welcome, the food quality and presentation were as good as we remembered.Price wise, it’s a steal. You wouldn’t think you were in London at all just a hop and a skip from pricey St John’s Wood. There are a lot of ethnic places to eat in Edgware Road, but the Mandalay is one of the most reasonably priced of many of them. Worth a visit and a few repeat visits afterward."

"I've been dining at Mahbub since they opened 25 years ago, and I can confidently say that the food is consistently authentic and delicious. I've never had a negative experience during all this time, which is a testament to their quality. The customer service provided by Amir and his team is always excellent. They offer a diverse menu, and they go above and beyond to accommodate any special requests. They also take the time to remember those requests for my next visit, which really shows their dedication to customer care."

"Arrived at 1.30, place was busy, but there was plenty of space in the restaurant , we ordered fish and chips, and a pulled brisket burger, one coffee and one tea. We sat down at 1.40pm, and waited, after 20mins, during which we drank the coffee and tea, the food arrived. The fish and chips, well, the only chips that were hot were those under the fish, the peas were barely warmed, the fish was dripping oil and the bottom was solid batter, and 24mm on each end was nothing but batter. Normally I’d have sent it back, but after 20mins wasn’t sure there was a point in waiting. The pulled brisket burger achieved the distinction of not only being dry and tough but also salty ! Having waited 20mins we were hungry, so we ate what we could. On leaving I spoke to the server, who responded with the phrase, yes my friend to all of my comments, given we didn’t want to wait I declined anything as we had a long way to travel, but was left with the impression that the server was more interested in chatting to the female friend visiting Overall, looks good, lots of room, cakes, etc look appealing, but what we had out of the kitchen was sub par and would better out of your average chipshop !"

"Went in here and ordered our drinks and food. We were with our Assistance Dog Charlie and told to go outside by a very rude young woman on the counter. I told her that on your door you have a sign stating no dogs allowed except Assistance Dogs they took no notice. She called the foriegn manager and he said rather abruptly we had to outside i explained the dog was exempt but again he was totally ignorant. I intend to report this cafe to the appopriate authorities for breaking the law. I tried to explain that he was an approved assistance dog and he was wearing an assistance dog coat. I asked for a full refund and walked out never to return."

"I stopped going to my local Chinese takeaway (Evergreen in Kingswinford after 24 years as it changed hanbs and the food became horrible. So i ventured out to find a new one and tried the Emerald Chinese in Wall Heath, approx. 3 miles from my home , as it got 4 to 5 star ratings ,what a mistake! I ordered my food to collect and when i arrived the lady promptly handed it to me,so far so good, she said it was £8.40 ,so i handed her a twenty pound note ,she immediately put up her hands stating ,dont you have anything smaller,i replied ,its a twenyy pound note and you are a business and i am not a bank. She actually asked me to check my pockets to see if i had anything smaller,i said thats all the money i brought with me, she threw her arms in the air and went and got my change.I actually told her about my old Chinese takeaway and she informed me that i would really enjoy their food. I got home and as soon as o opened the containers i knee that this was not going to be good. The chicken smelt and tasted off and there were ingredients in this dish i did not recognise, and i am a good cook. Needless to say my quest for a new Chinese takeaway continues but take it from me do not eat at this or my old Chinese takeaway!"

"I highly recommend the beer, the clientele, and the food/snacks at this restaurant. Don't expect to always get the correct change, but that just adds to the excitement. They do serve ham, egg, and chips, just not on Wednesdays or weekdays, so be sure to do your research before getting upset. The cheese is delicious, and if you happen to split your pants, they will even repair them before you leave. What more could you want?"

"I am writing this review after dining at the Mariner's Cafe, which I believe is part of the same business. We visited on a busy bank holiday weekend and were greeted by a friendly server who was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions. We were prepared to wait a bit for our food since it was cooked fresh to order. We ordered fish and chips, a fish finger sandwich, and ham, egg, and chips. All of our meals were piping hot and delicious, especially the homemade tartare sauce. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, so we didn't feel like we were overcharged. I also appreciated that all the drinks and their glasses were kept in the fridge, ensuring nice cold glasses for our beverages. We will definitely be visiting again."

"My wife and I called in today for lunch. The second you walk through the door you get a cheery greeting and offered tea or coffee. The place was clean and the atmosphere friendly. I had a bacon and sausage baguette, which was excellent and the baguette itself, lovely, which is often not the case. My wife had a tuna jacket potato with heaps of salad, which she loved. All this and 2 teas for a tenner. Recommended and we will be back. Thanks a lot."
