Boots Grill - Menu

On a gloomy day, we were in need of lunch. The beer was cold, and there was plenty of seating and parking available. We were greeted and served quickly. The quesadillas earned a solid 5/5, but the egg rolls were a bit too greasy for our taste, so we give them a 3/5. However, the dipping sauce was delicious!

The fries are pretty good. I got the pesto chicken sandwich and it was pretty good! This is a solid option given there aren't very many choices in Medora. This place was very busy even at 2-3pm from the summer rush of visitors. Service was slow when trying to get the check and leave. I had to flag down the waitress for it.

GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE! We walked in with 11 people at lunch time and got served pretty quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food- chicken tenders, white Buffalo sandwich, elk burger, etc! As a vegetarian, I would highly recommend the Brussels sprouts tacos- with guac! Phenomenal, especially in a place I wasn't expecting many options! View menu

You can't go wrong with any item on the menu – everything is delicious. The service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly. It's a relaxed spot where you can just enjoy yourself. Both patios are fantastic, especially the one upstairs. Plus, the patio downstairs is dog-free, making it a great option for those with furry companions. Overall, it's a wonderful place to spend time.

Fun place to stop for dinner and drinks! We were looking for some food after visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park and stumbled on this place and ended up grabbing a spot at the bar. The service was quick and attentive and it seemed to be a popular place. Everything on the menu looked so good, but I got the Badlands Salad on a recommendation from our bartender. It was fantastic. Fun and casual atmosphere sitting at the bar and watching some football. Would visit again!

Boots Bar and Grill is undoubtedly a favorite destination in Medora. The interior features rustic wooden picnic tables and an expansive bar. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was excellent. Unfortunately, they had run out of the jalapeño chokecherry jelly, which forced a few of us to adjust our orders. Very friendly and attentive service from every member of the staff. Cool, relaxed country bar atmosphere with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating with multiple opportunities for badlands views. They feature six beers on tap from Beaver Creek Brewery. The Pale Ale, Wheat, and Golden were all refreshing and satisfying. The onions rings are great and the house-made garlic aioli was amazing! Boots salad was fresh and delicious. Finally the fish basket was fantastic. The batter was very thin and crispy and not too overwhelming so the fish really had a chance to shine. The fries were excellently battered and crispy. The tartar sauce had so much dill, I was in ecstasy.

While staying in Medora we stopped by for dinner and loved it so much we came back a second and third time. I ordered the rib eye, it was tender and cooked medium rare as I like. My husband had the blue cheese burger. We both liked that the menu has a nice variety and the vegetable sides were fresh. The manager, Kyle, was very nice and wanted to make sure we were being well taken care of. The next day we both had the fish tacos, the fish was a generous portion and we both like the house made sauce. Being from San Diego, we are pretty picky about our fish tacos. We got to Medora before the tourist season started, so lots of the restaurants were closed. Out of the places we could chose from, I think we chose well. Hubby and I shared the Pretzels Dips 3 soft large pretzel sticks served with beer cheese, cream cheese, and a chokeberry jelly. Beer cheese was served cold, which is not my preference. But all the dips were nice. The pretzel was yummy. I opted for the Brussel sprout tacos absolutely divine! The Brussel sprouts were charred perfectly. Drizzled with a chipotle aioli.
