"Had breakfast there on Sunday. Great choice of food and nice place inside. Coffee was a bit lacking in flavour though, and my full breakfast, although tasty, was all different teperatures. Sausages, pancake and potatoes were hot but eggs, tomato and bacon were pretty cold. Would expect all ingredients to be kept warm and plated together? Will go there again though and hope for better luck next time, as overall was still pleasant."

One of the cities I like to visit is london. going through the streets is the best therapy. there are classics where I always discover new places, especially when it comes to healthy living. we met my man English friend for breakfast. they have a very varied menu, their staff is very professional, they inform them about all care about friendly wise. I had the omega 3 breakfast smoky salmon fresh avocado free sortiment eier super seeds tasty and my hubby the English breakfast both with a hot mocha. Make sure that a 12.5% is added to all bills as a service fee, but they can type more when the service is oustanding. I highly recommend this place for a fun healthy meal."

"I went here with my little boy in a buggy and as soon as I reached the door, a worker came and held the door for me. we got a nice comfortable table and while I was going through the menu, she played with the little one. I ordered a French toast and a mocha for me and for the little one I asked her if they could make a cheese sandwich and they were happy to do that. had a nice breakfast very friendly staff, great service, nice eating. they have just the needs of the little one. she was comfortable and happy, which meant that I could also enjoy my fönchtoast. in any case recommend!"

"Food was fine but otherwise not great, sadly. No record of our booking despite text confirmation reply the day before and reception made it sound like they were doing us a favour when they found us a table. Two main dishes sold out even though only 1pm. Almonds ordered with champagne on arrival didn 't arrive although very nice waiter did bring us some olives as an apology. Manager then asked if we would consider moving tables midway after we had started our lunch to allow them to join our table for two to the one next in order to make a bigger table. We were also badgered to order by various different waiters even though we had already ordered. Our 'main ' waiter was friendly and did his best but the whole thing was pretty average (for it 's price). The restaurant is also very noisy (which to be fair, I knew from previous visits). The Botanist used to be quite stylish both food and ambience wise but this seems to have changed maybe new owners? Tbh I only went because Colbert (over the road) was fully booked."

"We were looking for a nice spot to fine alfresco on a Sunday afternoon and fell upon aubaine. We wish we hadn't. Boring menu, terrible value for money and appalling service. Normally I would avoid a french restaurant at all costs in order to avoid the typical snooty know it all french waiter. "I experienced some unfriendly service during my visit. After we received our starters, our plates were promptly cleared as soon as we finished, and our main courses were served without any space in between. This felt quite unacceptable. It seemed like we were rushed to eat and leave. Additionally, the waitstaff stood too close to our table, which made it uncomfortable to have a private conversation. It's really disappointing because the food was actually lovely, but I unfortunately wouldn't choose to return."

"I went to the slug and lettuce in Staines on Friday night for the bottomless brunch. Jack and the twins gave us fantastic service. They kept our drinks topped up, checked on us regularly and were so fun and friendly. "first we came in and it was really ugly. there were quiet music and the furniture was really nice. next we ordered, but our waitress was a bit grumpy. but our food came in 14 minutes. it is like almost food restaurant. the Canadian breakfast was really good and the pancakes were huge and delicious. it is a really good restaurant and some of the waiters are really polite. this is a definite 4-star restaurant I just turned 12"

"Took my nephew for a pre theatre meal. Lovely food and red wine, great service. Easy to get to from London Bridge station. My nephew was really pleased with my choice of restaurant as he has spent the summer in Portugal with his girlfriends family and speaks flaunt Portuguese already. "We were really disappointed to be greeted and told they were short staffed and not a lot of food was available. I feel we should have been made aware of this before we attended. The things we wanted to eat were not available, there was no rice! A cheap and simple ingredient. We all had to have burgers as not much else to offer but they did taste very good. The staff were attentive but run ragged. I’m glad we had the app to order the food and drinks. The bar area was filled with dirty glasses and no time to keep on top of them to clean as they made drinks for all. It was a bit on the noisy side for us too."

"I made a reservation for our first Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant. When we arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the nice decor and well-dressed staff. We checked in at the restaurant at 8:15pm and were seated at our table. We waited for 35 minutes before a waiter came to take our drink order. After receiving our drinks, we ordered our food, which consisted of 3 starters, a main course to share (but was the size of a child's meal), and a dessert that was meant to be shared but was very small. We received our first starter, then the third, before our main course arrived. When I asked about our second starter, the waiter apologized and brought it out 20 minutes later. We then had to wait another 25 minutes for our dessert, leaving us very hungry. Despite being told the set menu was £40 per person with a glass of wine, we had requested soft drinks instead and were told it would not affect the price. However, when the bill came, it totaled £110.37. I had only brought £80, so my partner had to cover the rest. After attempting to sort out the issue the next day, I was frustrated by the lack of response from the manager and the unprofessional communication via text from his personal phone. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"The team was very attentive which added to the birthday celebratory atmosphere. We hadnt realised the sea bass came without vegetable sides so we ordered some at the time but they didnt come until after the mains were finished. They ended up not charging us for the veg, which was very thoughtful. The turkey dinners, on the other hand, were generously proportioned and delicious."
