"Visited with a friend for a Sunday lunch she had booked but given most of the other reviews, we must have drawn the short straw. We were put at a table just inside the door that was not the best location nor very comfortable but a good view of the bar and comings and goings. We both ordered roast. On top of, and covering the whole plate sat half of a huge carrot and half of a huge parsnip, underneath was lamb, so called roast potatoes and soggy Yorkshire pudding all sitting in gravy. Somewhere amongst this insipid pile was white cabbage (no sign of fine green beans as described on the menu). It looked totally unappealing and did not taste much better. I ate half to be polite even though had been saving myself for a nice roast; I couldn 't face eating any more. Price point probably was indicative of quality at £9.95 (Sunday roast). Soft drinks, 1 tea and 1 cappucino that looked more like an instant coffee with a bit of froth bobbing on the top. A couple next to us came and went and then I saw a cloth being pulled out from behind the bar to wipe the table. Not sure what it had been used for but I was pretty horrified. I didn 't think the place generally had a particularly clean and hygenic feel to it aside of it being dark and oldy worldy/chabby chic inside. The small outside seating area backed onto the car park and was popular with smokers. Upside was staff were friendly and accommodating but unfortunately I will not return on that basis.Littlebury itself is a small village/road just outside Saffron Walden a nice church and setting but really nothing in particular to stop for except for this pub that happens to serve food."

"I had a really lovely experience At this restaurant, the Turkish food was amazing and the service was incredible, lots of little attentions to detail and good for kids. Only thing I would say is that for the kids portion £7.50 plus 10% service for a very small portion of shop bought fish fingers and chips is really steep (technically £8.25) which is more than an actual fish and chip shop adult portion and lacked veg/balanced diet perspective, without this it would have been 5 stars all round. Me and my partner had some of the best Turkish food I’ve ever had, I thought the adult portion sizes were generous and tasty. Service and attention to detail was very good, I really liked the hospitality. If the prices for kids food were more appropriate, this would be our go to place x"

"The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, the food was not very impressive. We ordered burgers and they tasted like they were store-bought. However, we noticed that the other dishes being served to other tables, such as the pizza, looked good. Maybe we just had bad luck with our choice. Despite this, we may consider giving this place another try in the future as the restaurant itself was nice and the staff were pleasant."

"We were staying over in this establishment and felt disappointed that we had been put in the corner of the bar area. (Even though I pre booked the table, I would have expected this if we hadn’t) the noise was unbearable and we couldn’t hold a conversation. When seated it appeared we were forgotten about for approx 15 mins without asking about drinks or even giving us menus. Once food order was taken the food took around 30 mins to arrive which is expected on a busy Sunday shift so no problem. Food was ok, we were told the beef would be pink but was not (again not the end of the world just underwhelming), and there was no cauliflower cheese (some greens with as small amount of cheese sauce as a replacement). A member of our party asked for the brownie to not be warmed through however it was and as a result had a slight burnt taste. The cheese board was lovely, and different having frozen grapes but pleasant. Overall, a nice Sunday dinner, just slightly underwhelming."

"I first visited this pub more that 12 yrs ago when daughter was at Southampton Uni. Its quite difficult to find, but well worth the search, right on the banks of the River Hamble, thousands of private yachts in the marina. Parking is however a little awkward, you park on a narrow road, and have to walk down some steps to reach the pub. Ot park at Burseldon station, and walk along the path for 200 yds. It was busy on a Wednesday lunchtime, but I order a pint and a steak sandwich , and all was served with commendable efficiency. There is a more extensive dinner menu in a restaurant area. A really nice spot, pity about the accessability."

"More staff than diners.Starters took ages to come and were cold.Sent back and were better on return.Main courses delicious.Due to such slow service and us being on a tight time schedule we didn't have dessert. Final straw was card machine not working so I went to get cash from ATM rather than risk a further delay having to go to main hotel reception to use a card"

"The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. The three types of meat were excellent. However, a slightly broader selection of vegetables would have been appreciated, perhaps including options like cauliflower cheese or braided red cabbage."

"We celebrated Mother's Day at this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with chocolates and a lovely Mother's Day card! The food was delicious, making for a very enjoyable meal. I never would have considered booking a hotel restaurant, so I really appreciate OpenTable for helping me secure a reservation at the last minute!"

"There are lots of places near us that serve pizza but they don't serve it up as tasty as this. The service is simply first.class from the whole team. Frascati Pizzeria has only been around for a few months and it was on the list of places to visit that my wife has so we decided as we were walking past to pop in. I've given Frascati Pizzeria 5 stars because I really did love it. The staff (owners) are very polite and attentive which is sincere and genuine. The restaurant itself has a very rustic feel to it. Although small (only about 8 tables if I remember) you aren't crammed in and have an intimate feeling. The owners are planning to expand the restaurant to fit more in and I doubt that they will find it difficult to get bums on seats. The menu is small. I like that as there is nothing worse than looking at a menu with too much to choose from. What they do offer though is a good choice of pizza, pasta and chicken with desert and sides plus a selection of beverages to accompany your meal. Just as you enter the restaurant you'll see where your pizza is cooked fresh and on-site. I love pizza that is cooked this way and that will go some way to how they taste so good. There is also seating area where you can sit whilst waiting for a your table and have a drink. I'd also like to say thank you for the free desert they offered my wife to mark her birthday. A very generous offer that was gratefully received. We've been back and had 4 pick ups from them now and each time the Pizza has tasted simply beautiful. We are aiming to get back to sit in very very soon."

"We all enjoyed the food my brother had the pork terrine from a nearby supplier, which he enjoyed very much. I had the Dorset Crème Brûlée. It came with a crab and Parmesan twist and the whole dish was absolutely fabulous. Full of crab flavour, and very fresh. For main, we all had stuffed guinea fowl, which was equally good. The flavours of the vegetables were well matched with the chicken. I had cheese for my dessert, a healthy portion that I couldn’t finish. My brother had the crime brûlée and my sister in law had the Mille Feuille. They both thought they were delicious. All in all, the food was excellent. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. If I lived in Dorset, I’d go back often."

"This was our first visit to the restaurant. The food was enjoyable, but the decor was rather simple. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't offer a view of the golf course, so there wasn't much to admire. The staff were friendly, but we did have to request that our table be cleared."

"If I could leave 0 stars I would. My friends and I were at a karaoke night at this dump and were told we couldn't be served anymore because of one of my friends who they specifically pointed out. She was the only sober one of the group and done nothing other than sit at the table and go to the bathroom. They only want you in if you pay for alcohol by the looks of it."

"The Swan is a picture of a quintessential countryside pub next to the river. If you are not local then you might find it hard to find it as the location is past the residential area and is further down the river... Or you might come across the pub when you 're walking down the river path to Richmond. Like the name and if your lucky you 'll see white swans swimming around. The pub has a small indoor space and a terrace overlooking the river and just across the pub is an extension for outdoor seating. The staff is quite good to remind any guest when high tide comes and when it comes it might flood the outdoor space. There is also a sign next to the toilet entrance as a reminder for all the customers. The staff are always friendly and chatty and the food is delicious and well worth the money. My friend and I had a vegetarian burger which was very tasty. Didn 't know how big a portion of chips the burger would come, so I tried to order an extra bowl of chips but I was quickly reminded by one of the staff the portion of the chip are decent, and it was and I had a hard time finishing it. The chips they serve are not French fries but proper chips."

"We always enjoy dining at Skyline. The food is as promised on the menu and so delicious.. It is very good value for money and the place is spotless. This is a very important factor for me . It was a family meal and we had varied dishes but I can recommend the celeriac and beef cannelloni for starters and the beef shin for the main course .The family all enjoyed their different options. The staff are very friendly and helpful"

"Parts of Steak work really well. The service is great, it looks really classy and the ambiance is fine, albeit a bit quiet on a Friday night. The wine list is also good and not hugely expensive. But, let’s talk food. Firstly starters. If you’re like me and sensitive to chilli and lemongrass you might go quite hungry. Reasonable if you’re in a Thai restaurant but less expected in an upmarket steakhouse. So we didn’t have starters and had olives and bread instead which were lovely. Onto mains and this is where we hit a significant problem. So, this restaurant is called Steak. So, you’d assume they’d know how to cook it, right? Unfortunately not. We both ordered fillet medium rare and it was medium, bordering on well done. Brown all the way through with a hint of pink in the very middle. Given that it was nearly £40 per dish I politely sent it back. The next ones to arrive were rare to the point of blue. Actually the meat itself was beautiful (cooking it well done was a crime) and I like my steak more rare than cooked so I really enjoyed it. But again, it definitely wasn’t medium rare. Overall it was…..meh. Some good, some not so good. Shout out to the lovely front of house folk you were great! But, if you’re expecting perfectly cooked steak from Steak you could be disappointed. Which, frankly, is a bit odd."
