"Lovely place under the railway arches with lots of atmosphere. Staff very welcoming, helpful and professional. Food was a let down though. One of our party had scampi and it was a small portion, probably more suitable as a child's portion. Two of us had burgers one of which was £17 and the other was £23. Whilst the fries were really delicious, the burgers were very poor quality; lots of grisly bits in them which could be totally avoided if the mince was the 5% fat one from Tesco!! Cheesecake was delicious and a good size portion. 4th member of our party had the chicken and he said it was very nice. I guess if we'd avoided the burgers and scampi, we'd have been much happier. He ho!"

"I ordered the mixed grill at a price of around £36. It included a lamb cutlet, which I cannot eat due to personal preference. I informed the server that I did not want the lamb cutlet and did not need a replacement. However, when the meal arrived, I found the lamb cutlet on my plate under the gammon. I mentioned this to the server, but was told that the kitchen could not do anything about it. I expressed my frustration, mentioning the possibility of being allergic to lamb, but was informed that I am not allergic. I felt that my meal was ruined, but no compensation or offer of a replacement was provided, not even a drink. This was a disappointing experience."

"very pleasant eating too very competitive trips. fixed price menus available that offer amazing value at low prices. they can have 1, 2 or 3 courses from the fixed price lunch menu with the 3 courses only 10,95 and all contain a large selection of options. if they want a bit more or maybe up to the bigger steaks, they can choose the prime set menu and get 3 courses for only 18.95, again the fantastic is worth. the personal was always very friendly and service, even if busy is still at the point. they do not bend them while they eat and are very helpful to fulfill all the needs they have during their visit. they also offer a reward system via the app where they get points per pfund they spend. to add that they bill this from any one they need to pay there. Sunday roasts with a selection of 3 meats, cooked to their satisfaction. again this is available as part of a Sunday roast menu, so you can add 2 more courses for a few pounds each! would recommend this place to everyone, even if they are not a steak lover, they have other possibilities to care for everyone. if they have any allergens, they will be happy to help them through the menu. 5 star service overall!"

"Great lunch! Had the set menu, great food and excellent value. 4 of us and we all had a different starter and all 4 were great! Followed by 2 of us with sausage and mash fab, the other2 flat iron steak and chips, again really good. Apple pie for desert and one ice cream Sunday again all great! All washed down with a great bottle of Malbec after some fizz and beers! Highly recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area! Thanks for a great lunch!"

"This place has such potential to be amazing and a cool 60/70's vibe...but it is not. The decor is spot on and fantastic. The cocktails very hit and miss of our group 3 were great 2 were bad, and they shouldn't have been who gets a margarita that wrong?? The music didn't fit the decor 80's and 90's. We had to ask for the music to be changed to the right period as it clashed so violently. Then the food. So overpriced for what it was, which is a fancy Nandos. The whole spit roast bird barely fed 2 guys. The wine list was not a price range that most want to spend in a place like that £50 for a bottle of red wine. Small portions, high prices, mediocre cocktails, and wrong music...even the decor won't get me back into this place again. I can see why it wasn't busy on a Friday night. Could be so great yet falls extremely short of the mark."

"no mention on the website that the majority of steak main courses are calculated with additional supplements due to the supply problems. I get it, but additional £4 to already expensive trips is annoying without prior notice. if it were a good meal overall nice. would be easier to accept, but unfortunately this was not the case. I ordered filet med rare, but came blue! I don't care that a rare steak, but that was raw, sent it back just to cook it a little longer. then I had to wait as the husband daughter almost finished her meal times when I got my back. salat with him was brown salat with 1 slices of a tomato crushed, that was it! husband had steak, his was cooked better, but we both commented that it was not even seasoned. very disappointed. daughter burger was fit, but average. ordered side of macaroni cheese, which arrived without proof of cheese or sauce, literally was only dried makkaroni. I have eaten in this restaurant some time and had pleasant experience, nice building, good steak and service, but after this visit very disappointed. I also note that many other recent reviews are bad and comment on the same topics overpriced for pet food. they find it hard to pay their prices when eating is ground, average not worth the money. the left feeling, very disappointed, fell significantly under the expectations. did not like that 10% service fees were automatically billed. it doesn't matter to give tips when it is added to good food service, but only to my annoying for this disappointing meal at this occasion. will not return. a pity like a nice restaurant, but the dings are massively slipped."

In addition, whilst we asked for a break between our main and dessert after more than 20 minutes nobody came to enquire I'd we were ready or would like another drink even. "Went to Brew this afternoon for a late brunch after rising in the afternoon after a late night out! The weather was lovely so all the seats outside were taken, but we got a table no problem inside. Three of us went for the smoked salmon and hash with poached egg special and Saz went for the burger and chips. Food arrived quickly and have to say it was not what I was expecting but still tasted delicious. Probably two of the best poached eggs I have ever had."

Having to finish an expensive meal in just an hour and a half is quite disappointing! Fortunately, the restaurant was quiet on Wednesday evening, with only five tables occupied. However, given these conditions, we won't be returning. When I made the reservation, there was no indication of any time limit on our table."

"we had a nice table at the window, the staff was excellent and welcoming, we were efficiently and well served, the food was all good, we had several different dishes, all were satisfied with their choice. We had to follow grills and steaks with sweet, one of everyone, all were good. we had a booking for 6 o'clock, it was quiet to start, but a little quiet as it was filled, but it was okay. I asked to take the meat home that we did not eat for our dog, and it was acceptable and I got it to take home, the dog was electrostatic."

"We were unable to order any food at this restaurant as they had run out. They didn't have chips, but offered us another potato dish instead. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try their burger and mash. The daily special was Shepherd's pie, which was different from what I was anticipating - I was hoping for chicken or steak. I mistakenly assumed it would be a pastry dish. "just after the reopening it was not sure how it would be. you go in, get your temperature scanned and you sit when you come by (I don't know what happens when your attempt looks suspicious). we sit on them between tables with people who are not really looking for a safe distance. we wanted to try the scrambled eggs and cornish crab however due to the reduction of the available items, this was not on the menu, but if we asked for it, our waiter went into the kitchen and got them to make it. they would highly recommend for their quality of food and first class service!"

"The staff at this restaurant were amazing, from the lady to the two gentlemen who served us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. The drinks and food were both outstanding and priced reasonably. The bartender even created a delicious rum cocktail for me. The service was exceptional, with the lady being especially attentive. "I like Brodies for the simplicity and unpretentiousness associated with bars in Canary Wharf. They have a late licence, a DJ Thursday/Friday night, a great selection of tables outside with heater lamp parasols for the winter and a nice breeze in the summer! Nice and friendly bunch of staff have never had to wait more than a minute to get served!!! Nice indoor and outdoor area for leaving/birthday/occasion drinks, nice selection of food and platters to share and quick with the service too.Overall, love Brodies, certainly a favourite of mine for drinks and catch up with friends. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere and no air of arrogance at all! AND they have started to make and sell cocktails!!!Bar can be hired out on the weekend for private parties too!!! :"
