"We have been seated at the coldest table next to the Window , close to the kitchen. It was my mums birthday and we did make staff aware of it. Nobody have done check back when we had our starters which were not the greatest....We have waited for mains over an hour, nobody gave us cutlery after we had our starters , we were have to request. When we did that , the girl with dark blonde hair rolled her eyes on us. My mums majito was most of it ice , she couldn’t drink it , we asked for another one instead with no ice and in a smaller glass. The manager ignored our request and bought a drink to the table in the same long glass with full of soda that my mum couldn’t taste alcohol. The noice level was way to high the chefs were shouting and constantly complaining that none of the staff taking food. The entire our service was spoiled. Additionally, nobody asked us if we have any allergies. My brother had a burger with a spicy mustard which is not specified in a menu, myself I am allergic to spicy. Theoretically I could of been the one who tried the burger to check if child’s food is warm. They lucky that I didn’t. over , neither the waitress or the manager haven’t introduced themselves to us and it makes sense now. Overall , we wouldn’t recommend the place. Too pricy for a horrible service."

"During the last year I have visited The Minories couple of times, each time happier than before, and each time, my expectations continued to be exceeded. On the last visit, we ordered a sharing platter, it was absolutely flavorful, well presented and more than enough for two. Apart from the tasty food, the ambience was fantastic, even though my team lost the final match that night, I never felt gloomy. Last but not least, I would love to mention the leadership team, the friendly effective good-looking manager was looking after all the individuals that evening and making sure everything run smoothly, and everyone is pleased. Already planning the next visit."

"I love this coffee house on Goodge Street in Central London! Coffee at Black Sheep is delicious. The musical selection is hip. But the best of all is the wonderful staff. I always feel welcomed. Service is extraordinary. Mornings often find a group of thespians enthusiastically discussing theater on their way to classes down the street at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Local shopkeepers discuss business, regulars drop in for a cup of java on the way to work. The buzz is enlivening. Relaxing. Welcoming. There are a lot of coffee shops in the neighborhood. This one is my favorite."

"We booked for a birthday brunch on a Sunday for 6. The place was full and we had to wait 10 mins for the table we had booked at 11. Once seated it was another 15 mins until our order was taken. 15 mins then until our drinks arrived and another 5 until the food showed up. Clearly massively understaffed and delays were not the staff’s fault although when we asked for something some fresh boiling water for the teapot and some more maple syrup we had to remind twice until they arrived. The bill took a full 15 minutes. Why do owners put staff and customers under stress only allow booking where your staff can cope? I was minded to remove the obligatory service charge but did not want to make a scene. As we had booked for brunch, we were expecting the normal things you would find on a brunch menu. There they were on the menu .. so we ordered only to be told: no sausages, no black pudding, no avocado, no French toast and, very strangely, no fried eggs but we could have poached or scrambled eggs! The food was OK except the bacon which was flabby, fatty streaky bacon that was only just cooked and not good quality. Guests at every table had left theirs on the side of the plate. For a restaurant claiming to serve an American style brunch, this was massively underwhelming. In short, we will not return and I strongly recommend that all reading this give this place a miss. There are plenty of much better places in Notting Hill."

"I can't express how impressed I was during my first visit to the restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was incredible as soon as we arrived, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered various dishes, and I couldn't get enough of the 12oz fillet steak paired with a half lobster – it was absolutely superb. We also enjoyed a delicious calamari starter, followed by the amazing fillet, and we topped it all off with sticky toffee pudding and cream, which made the evening perfect. My partner and I were both blown away by everything we tried, and our choices were spot on. We're already looking forward to our next visit in a few months, and we left completely speechless by our experience."

"very pleasant eating too very competitive trips. fixed price menus available that offer amazing value at low prices. they can have 1, 2 or 3 courses from the fixed price lunch menu with the 3 courses only 10,95 and all contain a large selection of options. if they want a bit more or maybe up to the bigger steaks, they can choose the prime set menu and get 3 courses for only 18.95, again the fantastic is worth. the personal was always very friendly and service, even if busy is still at the point. they do not bend them while they eat and are very helpful to fulfill all the needs they have during their visit. they also offer a reward system via the app where they get points per pfund they spend. to add that they bill this from any one they need to pay there. Sunday roasts with a selection of 3 meats, cooked to their satisfaction. again this is available as part of a Sunday roast menu, so you can add 2 more courses for a few pounds each! would recommend this place to everyone, even if they are not a steak lover, they have other possibilities to care for everyone. if they have any allergens, they will be happy to help them through the menu. 5 star service overall!"

"Came here for a Punk night as a colleague of mine is the lead singer of a band called Idle Bones. I asked my partner if she 'd like to come and she agreed. We had a pre-drink to prepare and made our way there. We had just made it in time to see a band called Credentials, They wore balaclavas and jumped around like madmen. I very much enjoyed them especially a song they played called Mustard . After their moshy set we all headed downstairs for a cigarette and a beer. Everyone was in high spirits and the credential team all took off their balaclavas and tried to cool down from their fiery set. Next up was the headliners.. Idle Bones! I needed a good spot and made it back a bit later so was at the back but managed to jump on a chair to get a good view. They played a great set with some of my favourites being Eleven and Nothing important happened today . Brett Zero threw some T-shirts out mid-set but I missed out on those. They had a good long set and jumped into the mosh pit at the end. After the set, I went down for a cigarette and watched all the punks talking about previous gigs and how good it had been this evening. I chatted with some people and waited for Brett to come down. One of my colleagues told me the toilets were the worst he 's ever been to so I journeyed their myself and they weren 't too bad I think he just wasn 't used to pub toilets. The Idles Bones team came down and got a picture with the other bands that played. All in all, good night will be back for some more punky gigs."

"The restaurant is very good decorated and it’s staffs are friendly. Regarding the food, I visited the restaurant on the morning to have my breakfast there. I ordered pancake and black coffee. The coffee arrived before the pancake and it got cold waiting for the pancake. When pancake arrived was very good looking and nice taste but I think it was not freshly baked. Table was not cleaned very well and it was sticky !!"

"we really enjoyed our meal here. came to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Unfortunately, we were not told during our booking that we would only have 90 minutes of the table, as we felt in a hurry and on cursing a bad decision from the office hardly jumped fair on the staff. my main meal was pork belly it was divine 10/10 my man had the rib and he was very happy with him cooked to his lust. I decided for the mont blanc from the festive menu for dessert it was such a disappointment 1/10 bought in meringue very small chestnut and saw chocolate drops that were more like what they melted down for tempting. cote should improve or take it from the menu. I have let the server know of my unmut, unfortunately I have paid the full price for it. our drinks were well made and the wee was excellent, the employees were very friendly and efficient, especially the cookies served. so close to getting 5 stars."

We decided to have lunch at a Jamie's restaurant, as I had previously had good experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, it seemed like we caught them on a bad day as several menu items were unavailable. It was explained to us that there was an issue with deliveries, and on top of that, the service was quite slow. Despite these setbacks, the lunch was still enjoyable, but overall it was a bit disappointing."

"I was surprised to receive a text while en route to the restaurant stating that my table, reserved for 6:30 PM, would be needed again at 8 PM. Having to finish an expensive meal in just an hour and a half is quite disappointing! Fortunately, the restaurant was quiet on Wednesday evening, with only five tables occupied. However, given these conditions, we won't be returning. When I made the reservation, there was no indication of any time limit on our table."

"We only recently started going to the Piper as it's under new management. The new landlords are lovely. They made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere is great. The food was excellent value for money and plenty of it! We will now be going on a regular basis. I know it had a bad name in the past but I would encourage anyone to give it another try. "....the wind was blowing through the glass window panes at our table and it felt like there was a fan blowing on my head. The fish and chips weren't very nice at all and for over £10 not cheap, fish was bit soggy and the chips limited. I have eaten in here before and the salads are excellent so big dissapointment this time, will go back and try again though as the bar stafff are really nice."
