"I recently met up with family who were visiting the United Kingdom and had spent the morning at the Tower of London. We decided to have lunch at a Jamie's restaurant, as I had previously had good experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, it seemed like we caught them on a bad day as several menu items were unavailable. It was explained to us that there was an issue with deliveries, and on top of that, the service was quite slow. Despite these setbacks, the lunch was still enjoyable, but overall it was a bit disappointing."

I was very disappointed by Jamie's. Despite reading decent reviews, the fish pie was lacking in fish and there was a noticeable odor upon entering the restaurant.

not completely restored to covid, so not very busy on a Friday night, but who cares as long as eating is passionate and served with a warm smile. we loved eating and it was a lot of it. we'll be back and you should!

the place was full and very loud, but only 1 barkeeper and 1 waitress. it took more than 20 minutes to order drinks at the counter. we didn't even finish eating like the table was dirty and they couldn't get a talk at this place

The service was fantastic, they knew we needed a quick lunch and accomodated even when we arrived late. Food was delicious and a definite cut above your normal pub grub. They have the perfect ambience for a business lunch or evening meal.

I have booked this restaurant in the last minute, I was greeted with names at the arrival of mandy, who was very pleasant. the food was above all the salmon capaccio with the calcareous and the albarino was good. all very well served by mandy and anwar. recommend the angel

The Angel Restaurant continues to offer a great service and superb food. Don't judge a book by its cover i.e.. whilst the building from the outside may look sad, inside the welcome is warm and friendly, the restaurant well decorated and the food and service is first class.

The decor and service at this restaurant were both excellent, however we were disappointed by the food, which was pretty basic. I guess it wasn't badly cooked: More that the menu was a little uninspired. The music was also a little loud and too generically poppy for my taste, however I guess that's what appeals to the City bankers in the bar area who seemed to form the majority of the clientele.
