"The best dinner and dining experience we’ve had in the UK since we arrived 15 months ago. Just wished we had gone here sooner as we move back to the US in a couple months . So many people recommended it and we finally had the opportunity to fit it in. Chef Bruce, his staff and the restaurant itself were all amazing. We were so impressed with Bruce’s presence and his hospitality. We felt so welcomed, and we felt he and his entire staff cared about our experience. And now to the food. Just fabulous. I’m mostly vegetarian and their aubergine dish was mouth watering! My husband had the Chateaubriand and loved it. Thank you to the entire staff at the restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant"

"The food, ambience and value for money were excellent as usual. Unfortunately they over charged us for the meal. However, they realised this afterwards and refunded us which was good. Would have been 10/10 but for the overcharge."

"everything from service, eating, personal, decor to the entire ambiente achieved over 5 stars! no words are enough to describe the love and appreciation that we feel for this place to make our high-time dinner so special. each of the guests has not stopped riding about it! from the question, listen to the lady who helped us through the arrangement of our entire event was super helpful. they made this life so easy, especially with our endless asking and so humble to many changes from our side. Each and every staff including the manager in the restaurant are super professional and very friendly. each dish was executed with delicious aromen so that the dish looks even better than michelin stars the wine was popular and the cheesecake should die! I recommend this place for everyone and I know my friends, family and I will be back soon!"

"a first visit in this restaurant in plüsch mayfair. at the arrival they were warmly welcomed and welcomed by friendly staff. full marks here. they were properly sitting and served with a basket of different miniskule brot with butter. not sufficient for a table of 6. no refilling or even asking if one was required. a lot of drinks were ordered before eating. it took 3 requests for the drinks to finally arrive, although the bottle sparkling water was very fast. for the net I ordered the set roast beef sirloin lunch and possibly this would have been a very fine meal. there was a pretty waiting time until the main thing is served. the 2 slices of bark and the yorkshire pudding and crusty bratkartoffels looked very well presented and appetizing, although the bark was intermittently fat and chewing – with gristle somewhere in there. very disappointing in the did and out of the perceiving of the customer, this type of bark corresponds to a thing, and that is cheap / bad quality bark meat. they get 2 slices of roast beef and they would hopefully expect to eat the bark meat without fat and chewiness and it was certainly not warm or hot. the yorkshire pudding was large and airy, but was cold and probably left to lie after boiling. the brat potatoes were crunchy, but much too salty. the selection of vegetables was in order, but they were served stingy portions as they were divided under 3 beef diners. a bit misleading, as the picture of the Brat dinner would recommend that they get individual portions of side-narrow. after lunch I needed a 2 draws of ice much. the ice cream flavor was good, but the 3 pieces were very simple and could not justify this amount. I have the tasty with celestial and lemon curd sauces that were nice to taste. the restaurant was full with a good ambiente and the exit itself is very nicely located in a very expensive and plush area of london. that was, if I had expected a high-quality meal that I feared was not the case. the overall experience was expensive and in no way was it a good value for money. No one makes it to pay more than usual to go and eat, but at the same time they expect to get quality!"

"Just really really slow not great service. Specified it was a corporate lunch and the main server (lady) was just really unhelpful and really giving us disdained looks all meal. Often tried to catch people’s attention during the meal and they’d look the other way. A shame, because I had been a week before and enjoyed myself a lot for a corporate lunch, it was spot on, the server was wonderful."

"We went out as an 8 with people who are used to dining both here and in the USA , we got an excellent table at the back so we could see the whole of the restaurant . The bar staff looked after us with quick service and an he remembered all the drinks including a difficult cocktail. As we were there on a Sunday we had a super choice of the full menu including Brunch and we were allowed to pick and choose as we saw fit . All of us enjoyed the food and when we wanted sometime extra it was never a prob;em for our dedicated staff member Sebastian . I thought it was good value for money , and the wine list provided a decent choice for every wallet. We loved it as always and cannot recommend it highly enough."

"Firstly I want to say there is so much that deserves praise here smiling front of house/receptionists/wonderful floor staff managers constantly observing everything going on watching the floor/drinks waiters constantly topping up water replenishing wine etc/beautiful breathtaking surroundings attention to...detail immaculate furnishings everything is spot on…..but the food. The ‘occasion of the place’ well makes up for this BUT from the price point the food needs to also be perfection. This starts as any good chef knows with seasoning bland doesn’t cut it at this level of dining. Nor does look-warm. It’s such a shame as I wanted to give the full 5-Star review but sadly it was the food in a restaurant of this standing that needs to be excellent) that let it down. We still had a wonderful evening experience but the kitchen needs to ‘step up’ in line with everything else that shines here. There are so many very good dining establishments close by that I wouldn’t be rushing back just yet."

"Friday evening for Christmas dinner with friends, a few free tables we had reserved. not many options in the menu. complementary bread and butter we did not order any appetizers. I had a cocktail pinklina, which was thought to be passionate about heavenly and rosensirup, but it was watered down, it actually had no taste and I regretted to get it. I asked if they could let me have a strawberry daiquiri style, but they were not able to make drinks on the menu. I had steak, which was delicious, came with a side of chips, wobble pure and bone-mark sauce. the steak was very juicy, so did not need much sauce. we also ordered the lobster pasta, which looked beautiful and the duck. I had dessert the Sickers bar, it was very filled and I couldn't finish it. I tasted just like a beeping bar with a side banan. we also ordered the hot chocolate cake, which was very heavy was a lighter option meringue. great ambiente, very dimme lighting I couldn't photograph my food clearly and also the image of the night was dark. there was music, a little loud, but there was a good atmosphere. service was good and personal friendly."

"our breakfast was bad! my man ordered the filled banana-french toast. what he served was burned two halves, and very hard to chew French toast. a half of the toast had a small disc muddy pampered banane (so he did not end up eating part of the French toast to become sick) and another half of the French toast had no banana! my egg beedict was such a small part, half an English muffin and 2 small eggs. one was cooked and the other was runny (as should be an eier benedict.) I would like to point out, however, that the prices for the right prices for lidon, which are not acceptable to these Scottish foods. with two coffees, our bill was just over £30... a complete and total waste of money! the waitress had no idea of the food they served, we were shocked when our food arrived because it looked like we had ordered nothing. So we asked the staff if it was the right order, and they didn't know. So they took our food back to the kitchen and brought us the same food again. then another employee came to our table, looked at the food, asked for our food to take back to the kitchen and brought the same back to us! I don't want to say anything. avoid this restaurant."

"Brittany Dupree has incredible trading strategies and is the most understanding and reliable forex manager I've come across. She made the entire process smooth and helped me understand the fundamentals and skills needed for successful trading. I was able to make £24,240 from an initial investment of £4,500, showing that the forex market can be profitable. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in trading and making a profit in forex. "The pre-theater set menu at this restaurant was very good, but unfortunately, our friend arrived at 6:32 and was told it was no longer available. Instead, he had to order a la carte, which resulted in him only getting a soup before going elsewhere for a sandwich. It would have been more profitable for the restaurant to offer the set menu. This was not a good customer experience and hopefully they will improve in the future."

"Le Caprice is tucked away in Arlington Street in a surprisingly quiet spot behind the Ritz. If it sounds glam, it’s because it is. In a restaurant like that, the little details in service are what really set a place apart. We walked in with a booking and the maître d’ managed very discreetly and without me realising, to confirm a special little something that the s.o. had requested. Now that, is class. From our seats at the bar (we love the counter if you recall from my Bocca Di Lupo post I could see the maître greeting the regulars like a pro (handshake for the men, sometimes a hug for the ladies or a peck on the cheek). Even before we had a single bite to eat, we knew this...read more"

"I requested a spot at the counter bar since I was alone and heading to the theatre . No sooner was I seated than the bar man abruptly asked me what I wanted to drink no “welcome, how are you tonight” . He seemed a bit miffed when I asked to see the cocktail list, as though I should know instantly what I wanted. And, although a prix-fixe, pre-theatre menu is advertised online, only the regular a la carte menu was handed to me. So I had to ask for that, as well! As it turned out, I ordered an expensive a la carte main dish, since it appealed to me. During my meal, no one ever topped up my sparkling water the bottle stood in plain sight and the barman/waiter watched me refill my glass. And, when I’d finished my cocktail, no one asked if I’d like a glass of wine although I sat there looking at the page of wines by the glass . By then, although I did want wine, I was too fed up with the rudeness to order one. It was only after I asked for my bill that a waiter asked if I’d like dessert or coffee! Obviously, I didn’t. But I just smiled politely and said I had to go. No one thanked me for coming or wished me a pleasant evening. Yes, the place is packed being right by the Ritz Hotel is very beneficial . And the ambiance is suave and clubby. But the waitstaff is basically disaffected although they do act unctuously polite to regulars . I’ve actually been coming to Le Caprice for many years, but usually sit with friends at a table. Hmm— what a difference!"

"Good menu and service. The atmosphere was dizzy, but still able to talk. The tables were squeezed when you walked past the tables, sometimes felt the couple beside us was overheared to say that the same... a bit more space would improve the experience."

"This was the most recommended place for afternoon tea from our London locals that we know- and it certainly lived up to our expectations for the experience. The Wolseley is known for its afternoon tea and overall environment it eludes. We were greeted by a doorwoman who directed us to the hostess and we were promptly seated for our reservation. The service was quick and for tea was wonderful. Overall the sandwiches and biscuits were good, however, I was not necessarily a fan of the desserts. I will say they are very accommodating with allergies and that was very nice. Afternoon tea per person costs around 44.95 euros and it comes with a tea pot of tea with your choice and a tower with hand sandwiches, 3 biscuits, and a variety of pastries/desserts."

"we visited bloomsbury street kitchen in front of a theatre show and used a special offer that we found on the fork. from the moment when she put the foot through the door, the service was friendly and attentive. we were shown to a nice table and began to run through the menu. the restaurant is simply stunning to look at, very modern and stylish, and a master class in design. the restaurant is a mix of Japanese and medium sea, and is a “small plates” concept, so great for the division of many different things and aromes. we started with a selection of small plates that the buratta, edamame beans, crab harumaki rolls and seared beef tataki. all these dishes were exalted, but the bark didaki was really the outstanding court it was just stunning. for the main courses we ordered another round of dressed and settled on the rib eye steak, lachs and huh gyros. also here the dishes were beautifully presented and the aromen were from this world the highlight that was steak and salmon. the whole eating experience was absolutely burst, and we all really enjoyed our evening. I can not recommend bloomsbury street kitchen enough and we will return soon!"

"This is a very disappointing restaurant. There are now three Tom’s Kitchen restaurants, one in Chelsea (the original restaurant which opened in 2006), one in Somerset House, and now one in Canary Wharf, which opened a few weeks ago, and which I visited as it is located close to my work. Tom’s Kitchen is a modern British brasserie serving comfort food, and tries to use UK-based suppliers wherever possible, and uses sustainable fish and they try to avoid endangered fish like tuna. The owner of these places is the famous chef Tom Aiken. When Tom’s Kitchen first opened in Canary Wharf I was keen to go there and I went there with my work colleagues Deepak and Trevor, and we had a really...read more"

"Everything was OK but it was a pity we felt so rushed. It's hard to relax and enjoy what one goes to a restaurant for the food, wine and a friend's or friends' company. We were continually asked how we were 'doing'', usually in the middle of a conversation. This became intrusive and irritating. One of the golden rules of good service is that a waiter waits for the appropriate moment to ask if everything is all right if he must. Even when it's done with discretion, I find the habit obtrusive. A good waiter or maitre d' should be able to gauge whether customers are happy and being well looked after without having to constantly ask for confirmation like a needy lover. That said, it was clear that the staff were under pressure to conform to Covid rules and cope with the approaching lockdown. In the circumstances they coped very well. As our last hoorah before a month's lockdown however, our dinner was disappointing and depressingly average. None of this would make me not recommend The Ivy Chelsea Garden. It's a lovely restaurant"

"Food was fine but otherwise not great, sadly. No record of our booking despite text confirmation reply the day before and reception made it sound like they were doing us a favour when they found us a table. Two main dishes sold out even though only 1pm. Almonds ordered with champagne on arrival didn 't arrive although very nice waiter did bring us some olives as an apology. Manager then asked if we would consider moving tables midway after we had started our lunch to allow them to join our table for two to the one next in order to make a bigger table. We were also badgered to order by various different waiters even though we had already ordered. Our 'main ' waiter was friendly and did his best but the whole thing was pretty average (for it 's price). The restaurant is also very noisy (which to be fair, I knew from previous visits). The Botanist used to be quite stylish both food and ambience wise but this seems to have changed maybe new owners? Tbh I only went because Colbert (over the road) was fully booked."
