"price of the highest covered, euro. Okay, we're close to the cathedral, but it seems a little tall. the prices of the very high dishes, a pizza margherita costs euro and is the destination of a normal pizza to which we are accustomed. if you come don't recommend pizza though there are some dishes like the Milanese cotoletta that was very good. even if I'm not talking very well about the restaurant the meal was the best I've ever eaten, the kind enough staff"

A classic in Milan. We were perfectly served by Gaetano and Luigi. We had a risotto of cheese and the ham with mozzarella. It's open till late at night?

Happened upon this place for a late supper. Right off the tourist area but quiet. Food was good and came out crazy fast. Pretty reasonable prices. Staff spoke some English

local historian of the thousand years can please or not. Is the place old style and the waiters too? Oh, great! So they have to be. tradition counts, and if you don't like to avoid going. There is a magnificent mcdonald's in the square of the cathedral. View menu

First time in this milan club. a good destination considering that we are in the center of Milan. nothing exceptional but not even disastrous. good quality and quantity of food. kind and formal staff. local a bit dated but seen worse. the negative note is represented by the high price of the dishes. I understand being in the center of Milan, but a resize is the case of doing it.

Had a great time. Got in before the dinner rush which was nice. The tortolini and bolognaise was amazing. Wife had Sicilian something eggplant with noodles and it was outstanding. Service was great and the house wine is better than Trader Joe's wine. No fuss no extra **** service. Would go again and bring mom. Also we had the motsorella with tomato thing, holy cow was that delish. View menu

restaurant and pizzeria environment, service and kitchen with an extra touch of class. suitable for the type of restaurant and location. Wide menu to meet every need. I tried so many dishes of the menu and I was always satisfied. the historicity of the room, reflected in the experience and tradition and the type of clientele, put this restaurant at a higher level. If they're in the area, I'll choose to eat there.

We were walking to our favorite restaurant (see my other review in Milan) and this restaurant was on the same street about 50 yards away. The next day for lunch we looked at the menu and it had my favorite veal dish, Saltimbocca alla Romana. Veal in a butter and wine sauce with sage and prosciutto ham. We decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed and it was a great rendition of this southern Italian dish. Wine was good. Bread excellent!

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
