Alex - Menu

I like going with friends and with my bf it's really lovely, nice stuff and nice food choices. Ofc my favorite is going to the sunday brunch

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, however, the plates were only half full... very little food for the prices paid. Staff was okay to nice.

eating was not bad, but it could have been better. the service was in order, could have been better because it was not much going on this day, but nothing worse than elsewhere in Germany.

I’ve had a delicious lunch in Alex after a long hard day. The Staff was so fast and professional. The food was good and the cake was super. The restaurant is more cosy and relaxing. I enjoyed it

my favorite alex cafe is alex hamburg (located at the former) and the second is alex berlin and the third is alex mainz. it has a great location and offers a beautiful ambiente. their food and drinks are also good. View menu

This restaurant is run by a young, college staff. Although I feel fairly comfortable reading a German menu and ordering many things in German, they are fine if you order in English as well. The food is good and the service is fairly quick even...when busy when they are able to open to the outside and leverage those tables. The only time they slow down is when you ask for the bill. Then they take longer. Otherwise, reasonable prices and good food make this a great place to have dinner

Their treatment is racist and impolite, and it seems that some religions are not welcome. My wife and daughter were abused, and a table was not provided to us and presented to seven people, then two people, then two others without waiting, the absence of reservations, the presence of empty tables, and while informing the manager of what happened, an employee came in the clothes of the kitchen chef and expelled me for any racism in This place is surprising that something like this happens in Germany

we booked in alex a table for 22 people (nearly we booked for 18, but we called a week before to change the reservation to 22.) Finally we are 21 people and when we arrive there are not for all chairs. we are cool, it's easy to accommodate 3 more people on such a big table when the 3 chairs are missing. Well, apparently not so easy for them, they gave one of us a high chair where it was impossible to eat comfortably. we have asked the waitress several times to give us a normal chair, the restaurant had several empty tables (all tables outside were empty, and the table next to us was also empty), and they complained very aggressive about why they couldn't?
