"Most other reviews we've read here about Giorgione seem to be accurate. The selection of antipasti is indeed vast and very good. Following that, we were brought two types of pasta, a fettucine with ricotta and orange peel flavoring, and a curly pasta with ragù. That was followed by roasted chicken, good but not exceptional, and a very tender and tasty beef cooked in wine, along with potatoes and salad. For dessert there was a nice assortment of brownies, ricotta cookies and crostata with frutti di bosco. We found that the fixed price, fixed menu at €27.50/person exclusive of wine was good value. Some people prefer to have a large menu to choose from. This is not the place for them. We instead are content to have surprises, as long as they are good, so we were very pleased with our meal. Giorgione himself occasionally emerges from the kitchen to greet his diners. He's a affable man who seems to enjoy what he's doing and his waitresses are also cheerful and efficient. The atmosphere is informal and warm. The Antonelli wine that we consumed was so good that we stopped off at the winery on the way home to pick up some more. Try this restaurant but you'll need to reserve ahead."

If you want authentic taste of Italy, with variety, atmosphere and quality for the best price. Go here! It is a little out of the way but trust me you will never regret it! And everyone that works there is so kind and happy to help.

Having watched Giorione's television show we decided to try out his restaurant. Although reservations are hard to arrange we were able to book a table for Friday lunch on short notice. The menu is fixed price (27 Euros per person) with wine extra. The antipasto buffet was abundant and delicious. There were two pasta selections, both wonderful. The past was followed by two meat dishes, the first was rabbit and the second was a beef dish with almonds and balsamic vinegar. Dessert and coffee followed. The entire meal was in an Umbrian style with some twists. The local wines were well selected and reasonably priced. However the defining moment was Giorgone's presence. He greeted each table perso...

BRAVI!!!"
