"Really wanted to like this place but was disappointed.. orange juice had “things” floating in it so needed replacing.. Childs milkshake metal straw wouldn’t work (adult tried blowing it and couldn’t get air out.. adults first received the wrong order.. then the right order of 2 of the same toasties but one with a bonus long blonde hair in one which put everyone off their food (and the response to that was “oh they’re made on different machines” which isn’t exactly the point so £7 wasted on a toastie no one wanted to take a risk on. Was offered a refund for the one with hair but upon checking the receipt it was a refund for a different order/card waited for another receipt before leaving and then after finally getting out of there realised it’s just a copy of the order receipt so not sure if the refund was processed.. The craft fair we went for was lovely tho. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20"

Quirky place with great service! Art work is interesting and worth a look. Cakes are fantastic and taste great. Sorry, lost a star with the coffee which started off well but had a strange aftertaste.

Staff and location are great. Great atmosphere. The toast and poached eggs, fig jam all great. The waffle was not. Would not have that again even if it was free. Still a great place and will try something new as the treats look delicious. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was very disappointed with the food, the worst coffee (very bitter) and scones (dry and hard like a brick) I ever had, both, my friend and me agree on this one. I can't recommend it to anyone . Really nice staff. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10

Had lunch last Saturday. Four of us, including 3 coeliacs (gluten-free), one of who is allergic to milk products! We also had a dog with us. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating and we really enjoyed the food. The dog also liked the café! Dietary restrictions: Coeliac (gluten-free) and milk-free. Art Soul is a beautiful, quaint and cosy cafe in the heart of St Neots. The staff are very welcoming and so is their gorgeous resident dog : It is always a joy to be here; the food and drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is great. They have a fabulous array of books to read there, and very pretty trinkets and cool artwork that one can purchase. It is a wonderful place for well-being, by oneself or with company. I could not recommend more highly.

"This pub has a beautiful summer garden and we enjoyed watching the variety of wild birds that flittered around. Whoever maintains the garden does so with pride and with knowledge of how to create a wonderful space. The same pride and knowledge is not represented...in our experience of the food. It took over an hour to receive a burnt fish chips and a fish burger that was a tiny bit of cheap fish cake. The fish cake tasted unsurprisingly dreadful, more potato than fish, a frozen bought in effort and was returned uneaten. After the hour's wait the kitchen was closed so no alternative was offered. The fish chips were supposed to come with creamed peas, but instead came with plain frozen peas. The claimed home made tartare sauce was out of a jar. The batter was dark brown and bitter and clearly over cooked to the point of being burnt. The chips were equally over cooked and dry. In our view the chips were frozen not fresh. The chef needs to take a leaf out of the gardeners book and take some pride at what leaves their workplace, as we left hungry and bitterly disappointed. That food should never have left the kitchen in the state it was and is hugely disrespectful to the customer. The service was friendly but slow. We weren't offered an apology nor were we asked how the fish chips were, despite them clearly being picked at and mostly left. The pub wasn't busy with perhaps 4/5 tables occupied by the time we left. This pub can clearly do better judging by the over positive reviews. It manifestly failed for us, on our first visit as locals."
