"We called in early this evening. We were greeted warmly by Sal, he's a charming witty young man. Askim's is a family run restaurant, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We only ordered main courses but Sal brought us a complimentary selection of dips and some warrm bread, which was scrummy. Our mains arrived quite swiftly. I had chicken in a tomato and pepper sauce, my daughter had the same main but with squid. The chicken was a good portion and the squid was plentiful. We both enjoyed our food. We will definitely return and recommend to others."

I stumbled upon Askims on a day trip to Scarborough. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. I had the mixed kebab with rice and an extra side salad. Complimentary warm flat bread and dips were provided whilst I waited for my food tombe prepared. I would definitely visit again.
