"This charming restaurant has beautiful soft green decor and the owners, Achilles and Alessandra, were incredibly welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a delicious meal, which is rare to find nowadays. I ordered the chorizo and rice bowl, filled with fresh veggies, chorizo, and spicy sauces. My son enjoyed the tasty beef burrito. We also indulged in the amazing lemon and poppy muffins with a surprise lemon filling. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Despite traveling from Horwich, it was definitely worth it."

Not sure I've ever had a vegan burrito as good as this one. Banana shake was awesome too. Friendly staff too

Big bowls of tasty food, wraps, smoothies, shakes, hot drinks and muffins. Mmmm Take away or dine in. Achilles and his Ma, Alejandra will welcome you to this simple, healthy dining experience.

I visited the restaurant on Thursday, even though the Health Department app said it was closed. They need to update their hours because I almost didn't come to check it out. The burrito was amazing - it was packed with delicious flavors and very satisfying. View menu

We’ve visited Atu a few times now and each time the food has been absolutely amazing! Generous portions, tasty, healthy and delicious! The cakes are scrummy too! The owners are lovely, friendly people and the cafe is cute and colourful. Try it, you won’t be disappointed

I went in here yesterday just happy in the knowledge that it was fully vegan. As I live in Melbourne, (Oz) I avoid using my bank card as it charges me $5. The guy who was serving was happy to let me pay cash which I am guessing wasn't usually done in this crazy covid' climate. We had a good friendly chat. The food was excellent. On leaving I was very full and happy!! The place was small, friendly, clean and yay....vegan!!! I recommend and will go back before my trip ends. View menu

You must go here for lunch! (Or any meal) They have really good sized portions, deliciously flavoured and filling food and such a wonderfully friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I had a really tasty and fresh berry smoothie and chose every option of filling for the burrito! It was so good I also bought a burrito for later. I so wish I lived close by, I would be here all the time. Thank you so much and it was lovely to meet you both, I wish you all the best Support your local vegan independents!

The place is a small homey restaurant. The decor feels like I’m in another person’s home, which felt welcoming. The two people working there, which appeared to be son and mother, were wonderful. They basically have burritos, bowls, smoothies, milkshakes, tea, and muffins/cakes. For the burritos/bowls, you can choose from vegan beef, vegan chicken, and vegan chorizo. I ordered vegan chicken bowl and added their special parsley mix which was oily, garlicky, and delicious! I was very full afterwards. I definitely recommend this place.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
