"I wish I could give 0 points, one is way too much, this was clearly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered medium roasted lamb chops, not for the first time in my life for sure because I like them and therefore know what good lamb chops look and taste like. What came was two large bones with fat and about five milimeters of grey cooked through meat, with more fat in between, served with a few sad looking fries. The dish was "only" 14 Euro but I returned it. Instead of an apology, the "patron" came, still with the plate of awfulness in his hands, and said in a very rude tone that this was what I ordered and what lamb looks like. I told him I did know what lamb is supposed to look like and this was not it. He left. I was not asked by anyone whether I wanted to see the menu again, they just ignored us, so we asked for the bill. When it came, it had the lamb on it! I told the waiter to remove it but he said that's the "patron's" decision and he won't take it off. After another very heated discussion with the worst "patron" and obviously worst cook ever, as he even dared to mention he has been cooking his lamb like this forever (???), we gave up, paid and left. I can't even say the service was bad, it was unbelievable and humiliating! This restaurant obviously still exists for the sole reason that it is one of only two places open in the evening in Les Baux and visitors of the tourist site never return! If your ideal evening doesn't consist of being rudely attacked for critisizing terrible food, don't ever go there!!"

I had a caramel crêpe, but it was like a kitchen sponge, and the "caramel" was burnt sugar. The waiter was rather unfriendly

Delightful shaded terrace provides a nice oasis for an average meal. Sufficient for lunch and eliminating peckishness, however nothing special.

Whatever you order you MUST leave some room for the AMAZING lavender creme brulee!! WOW! The best dessert I've had in my life! Loved this place! I had the rack of lamb! Very good. Very nice setting with super friendly and fast staff.

After a slightly disappointing meal at a much more expensive restaurant the night before, my down to earth but very very tasty lamb chop and chips were spot on. I have never eaten here in high season; I suspect a booking will be almost essential. I have been here twice and haven't been disappointed.

As we were visiting Les Baux on a Monday (when many restaurants are closed) and in mid-March, we were not surprised to find only 2 restaurants open. We chose this one and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Three of us ordered salads and they were huge!l The service was friendly and quick, but we were in no way rushed. It was a rather cool day so we chose to sit at an inside table, although the outside tables are set on the charming garden patio.

This is one of our favourite lunchtime haunts when we are in the area. We always have the salads, a huge plateful! Today, I had my usual, the salade gourmande, a mixed leaf salad dressed with fois gras on toast, warm gizzards with warm potato pieces, smoked duck, walnuts tomatoes etc. My wife had the vegetarian salad but was a little disappointed. Desserts were creme brulee with lavender and nougat glace with red fruit compote. A half litre of very acceptable rose and coffee to finish. Delicious food, sitting in the sun.

Unlike the rest of Les Baux, this restaurant was a bit of a let down. The setting and decor are very nice - outside under several nice trees. However, as the last customers of the evening, the staff were literally standing around, waiting for us to finish. I certainly get that at the end of a long day, but definitely detracted from our dining experience. Food was OK, price and portions reasonable and service prompt and courteous, but again the "hurry up and finish" vibe we got was unfortunate. On the bright side the beer and wine tasted delicious and took the edge off a somewhat awkward situation! Not many dining options in Les Baux so a bit surprised at our experience here....

This restaurant has a few good things going for it; it's well located just inside Les Baux, it is open in the evening unlike a lot of the eateries in town, and its outdoor seating area is quite relaxing and beautiful. The food is wholesome and filling - we ordered steaks and they were cooked well, good portion sizes, and tasted delicious. The wine, like in most of this region, is well priced and goes down easily. The one downside, unfortunately, was the staff attitude. We were served by several wait staff, and not one of them seemed interested in their job in the slightest. They were slow and indifferent, didn't really answer questions when asked, and generally didn't say even the most basic...

One of the worst restaurant experiences in France ever. My wife ordered Cote d agnau (medium) et frites. For € 14 we did not expect a great portion, but what came on the plate were 2!! tiny and fatty pieces of "bones with no meat" and cooked well done as though as old boots. Of course we claimed imidiatly but the patron insisted this is as genuine Cote d agnau should be and he did not offer anything in exchange even if we ordered a full course dinner menue (meaning we did not only pass by for a quick snack). We aborded our dinner at this stage and asked to take this off the invoice, which had been declined by the patron in a very rude way as acusing us not to know what we have ordered. Me be...

"My birthday dinner at Cabro d'or, I thought it would be better for the price it costs. We want to spend an unforgettable birthday party in a privileged and idyllic setting. I did not like the atmosphere of the restaurant, to my cold and impersonal taste, the cold service team, cold waitresses and waitresses, they are not at the height of this renowned and high-end restaurant. Or has the warm welcome in France and the unbreakable service at the Baumaniere?! The quality of reception and service are well below, it is a shame. The cold reception, the cold and completely impersonal service, the not top outfits, the waitress learned by heart her text for the dishes, not a nice word, the smile is optional and forced... It is necessary to make efforts if you work in this kind of high-end establishment! Everything is served and unpacked very quickly, we think we want to get rid of us. It's stressful and not pleasant, we don't want to eat more. We can't enjoy our good gourmet menu quietly, and I already forgot what I ate, it was good but not more... The atmosphere of the cold restaurant didn't make me taste, enjoy my birthday party quietly. It was raining bcp, there were no parasols available to go to the car, my husband forced to return to look for umbrellas in the car, the parking lot is not next. We didn't have a good night. We're not tourists, we live in the region, and I'm disappointed, I'm sorry, but we're not going back to Cabro in gold."
