"To take a break from heavy, meat-oriented middle European food, my wife and I had dinner at Ausonia. We looked at an online review which praised the restaurant but we should have checked Trip Advisor also. The staff is friendly and the interior is nicely...decorated but the food was average at best. The tomato salad with pecorino cheese didn't have pecorina cheese. It was covered with chunks of feta cheese; okay at a Greek dinner but not an Italian restaurant. My wife's scampi provencale was generous on the shrimp but bland and lacking the taste of fresh shrimp. My lasagne marinaio was the best of our three dishes. It was a deconstructed lasange with seafood and sauce on top of two lasagne sheets. The seafood and sauce were tasty but the lasagne was gummy. Oh well, you can't win them all."

We were sitting outside in a very comfy patio, the wait was very nice. Service was good. The portions aren't too big and the food tastes okay but is nothing special. Toilets are very acceptable as well.

This restaurant has a lot of choice. We took a large whole fish and a lot of salat. The fish was good but the salat was rather big for a normal person. They have Italian music and a screen with movies. Good atmosphere.

delicious pizza and good wine made our first time in ausonia a very pleasant experience. our waiter was very friendly and helpful and they had English menus as well as German, making the choice under a very good list of pizzas much easier.

On a hot day in Dresden, we opted for an air-conditioned restaurant to escape the heat. Over our beers, we shared a pizza (arrived on two plates, no surcharge), which was very tasty. The service was good, however the restaurant does not accept cards. Thanks...for your vote.

4 adults looking for something light and warm before our next tour, and this place was perfect. we all have a bowl suppe that was perfect. they had 3 choices tomato soup with sawn, kartoffel soup with sawn and minestrone. we ordered one. others, my favorite was the potato soup. the bowl and the side of the broth sufficient to satisfy our demand and warm us up.

I guess when you have a wonderful location, you can afford to have mediocre food and service. At least that is my take on Ausonia. I ordered vegetarian lasagne--big mistake--and didn't even bother to take the leftover portion with me. My husband ordered a pizza...and it was average at best. It is rare that pizza doesn't hit the spot. This seems to be an Italian restaurant in name only; it lacks the wonderful flavors that are at the core of Italian cuisine. Additionally, the servers seemed disinterested from start to finish.

This restaurant is well located with a very pleasant terrace which was quite full on the Saturday we went. The food was good, but not outstanding. I tried the spaghetti Carbonara which I enjoyed, and my son had a pizza which he liked. We had...set our sights on some desserts that looked delicious, but it was simply impossible to get the ONE waiter's attention to order, which was quite frustrating. The poor chap simply could not handle the large number of tables he was assigned, so when he finally came over, we just asked for the bill, as we would have lost another hour of sightseeing if we had eaten dessert.

"for cross-readers in front of moritz is a very special gourmet temple with many facets, delicious cuisine with mut to new creations and pleasant environment and service. for those who are willing to enjoy more than 100, € for an evening meal to two in a pleasant atmosphere must be an absolute. the gourmet restaurant moritz [hidden link] is located in the middle of the inner old town of dresden, near the church of women in the 5th floor of the 5 star hotel suites [hidden link] on the new market. from the table they have a fascinating view of the dome of the women's church, better still from the beautifully planted roof terrace. the restaurant is very easy to reach from the surrounding parks, as well as from the tram stop old market with lines 1,2 and 4. the rooms are only accessible via the hotel entrance of the suiten rampische street. from the reception they are kindly accompanied by the lift-ins restaurant where they are already expected from its waiter. he immediately takes care of our garderobe and accompanies us to our reserved table, where the placed candle already burns. the waiter looks very pleasant, authentic, researched inconspicuous and very courteous according to ours probably the following a very great training and guidance of service staff. the drinks and the diner card are presented in the form of a sealed letter. after a pleasant waiting period he picks up our order after an excellent recommendation of the appropriate wee. ambiente has several juvenile stylistic elements. also the walls are decorated with very interesting, matching top and beautiful images in modern spachteltechnik. the table decoration is very appealing, in short we felt very comfortable and relaxed in this environment. the magnificent view over the veranda terrace to the Frauenkirche, what do you need more? in the toilet area this cozy atmosphere continues. a coherent concept. the offer of the creative chef sebastian rosenfeld was absolutely convincing, the choice was all the more difficult. my partner decided to replace the small dinner menu 39, €, but let the offered economical cream soup with an interesting starter without problems, at a price of 4,00 €. a delicious pleasure. main course:beef as desired on the point between rare and medium roasted with kartoffel spot, meerrettich foam and pfefferjus a dense dessert: cheese cake without floor, chocolate mousse, vanillesoße a good conclusion. a la carte: appetizer 12, € carpaccio from linumero cornice with argan oil marinated on woken, ray and vets the butterzarte meat crumbling on the bee a delicious start main dish 27, € : crépinette by beelitzer here is absolutely correct price and performance. Unfortunately, this ratio is not given to the drinks M.E, which leads me to a knock. we felt very comfortable in moritz and will certainly offer him another visit."
