"I met up with a friend for a delightful dinner at Bagatti's. The staff were friendly, patient, and attentive, regularly checking in on us throughout the meal. We opted for the set menu, which offered a variety of options. For starters, we enjoyed calamari, followed by lamb shank and prawn linguine for our mains, and finished off with profiteroles. The entire meal, along with a glass of wine, came to around £38. Despite not having visited in years, Bagatti's impressive longevity in Croydon speaks to the consistently high quality of their food and service. My experience was just as excellent as I remembered, and I won't wait as long to return next time."

Visited Bagattis last night with friends for the first time in while. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was faultless. Would happily recommend the whole experience

The food was exceptional, the service was excellent, and the wait time was minimal. I have no complaints at all, it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend trying the carpaccio, you won't be disappointed. View menu

Such a disappointing and expensive visit. Starter with roasted hazelnut...no nuts. Main with king prawn...no prawn. Service brusque and reactive. Nobody asked how our food was (or we would have told them...meh). £90 for 2x2 courses and a glass of wine. As much as they cd do to look up and say goodbye as we left. Never again

Went with 15 friends on Friday evening. Very busy so hard for staff to keep up the pace on drinks etc. The food was fabulous. There was some left on a couple of plates but not for want of trying to eat it. For starters we had sharing platters. Delicious . Those who had pudding said it was the best the had ever had. Well done

Thank you so much to all the staff, especially Olivia and Aurelio. We were a very big group of 24 people and despite us being such a big number of people the quality of service and food was still brilliant. Olivia and Aurelio were particularly patient and made us feel extremely welcome. Also big thank you to kitchen staff, the food was amazing! The platters in particular as a starter were amazing. This restaurant has a nice appearance overall. The menu has a good selection of dishes. I opted for the lamb ragu, but found that there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it could have used a bit more pepper. My husband ordered the vongole spaghetti, which had a generous portion and was very tasty. However, we both felt that the prices were a bit high compared to other Italian restaurants in Central London that we frequent.

Frequent visitor to this place over the last 10 years. Ordinarily an excellent restaurant with an almost guaranteed hum buzz atmosphere. We didn’t ask anyone for confirmation, but we just knew that the restaurant had changed hand. The service was poor, the kitchen have clearly started using cheaper ingredients, I would hazard a guess that the previous chef (s) have left. The established front of house staff appear to have moved on. To summarise! The standards have fallen of a cliff and the prices have shot up. Won’t be back anytime soon. What a shame, this was my go to place locally.
