"Going to visit the Bean and Brush has seemed to become a weekly occurrence! It is a lovely family cafe that serves great food. Eggs Benedict is my favourite and my husband often choses the breakfast pizza. There is a good selection of drinks and the menu is reasonably priced. We always get good service and as they are open until 7pm we sometimes take a visit after school for tea. Always quick service. The art studio is upstairs where you can paint a pot or decopatch and has really friendly and helpful staff."

The bean and brush serves the best coffee I have ever tasted, Graham gets it perfect every time. A very friendly cafe, excellent for families. Proper home cooked food and Gemma’s stew is amazing.

Met a friend for a catch up coffee, brilliant as both had babies with us so great to go somewhere so family friendly. I had a lovely piece of Gluten free cake and there were loads of options, so nice to have a choice!

Went for Sunday breakfast with my girlfriend. Talked myself into a breakfast pizza, I was a little dubious but it is by far the best breakfast I have ever had. That is a bold claim but I stand by it. 100% awesome, and the coffees were outstanding too.

We popped in for lunch as an end of half term treat. The food for children is really affordably priced and is even enough for my 11 year old (with some fries to share). Our food arrived really quickly and was delicious. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We LOVE going to Bean and Brush.

I have visited on many occasion and have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Whether the cafe is busy or not I can settle in an armchair or booth, eat wonderfully fresh and varied food with a great cup of coffee! The bean and brush never fails to provide me with an escape for an hour or so!

This place is great! The food was really high quality. I had a pizza which was delicious and my friend had some cake. Staff were very attentive and friendly and despite it being over run by babies and little people it felt really clean. Great place to take toddlers and babies whilst enjoying great quality food with a friend.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
