"On holiday in the region and tried an 'Indian ', The only option is the Bentham Balti. Placed an order, no issue. I collected the order from a very small establishment, and I wasn 't impressed by the general cleanliness. But hey, it 's take away. The food itself was quite disappointing. My Lamb Biryani had tough gristly meat and flavourless rice. The only thing with any taste was the additional veg curry dish. Salt was my best friend that night. The Peshwari Nan was tough, cool and dry. Disappointing!!! and it wasn 't that cheap either."

We all had lamb , 3 passandas, 1 tikka masala, the lamb was as tough as boots. It definitely was not slow cooked it was a roasted lamb joint just cut up and over cooked.

Called in here with friends, 2 of us had mushroom balti and the other 2 had lamb and lamb Tikka balti, portions were good, food was great and everything reasonably priced. Will be back next time in Bentham!

Very accomodating, friendly service. I asked for my favourite curry which wasn't on the menu (balti bhuna) and they happily did it for me. It was delicious too!! Mrs got massala and that too was great. Lucky to have these as my new local Indian takeaway

We ordered food from Bentham Balti Indian Take Away during our holiday stay in Bentham in June 2022, and the food was terrible! There were 6 adults in our party and we all ordered our usual favourite dishes, but only 1 person could finish their meal all the dishes were far too hot, which completely ruined them! And the food was absolutely tasteless!! Naan breads were doughy just awful! A completely waste of money. I strongly recommend avoiding this take away.
