"Decided to support local business during lock down by ordering takeaway, in return you expect a grateful business to provide good food. The ribs were OK but not tender enough to be falling off the bone as you want it, however the pizzas were undercooked...and tasted predominantly of dough. At any price I'd have complained but at best part of £30 for 2 people next time I'll be buying a large freshly made pizza from Asda for under £5 to heat up which I know are nice."

Great food wonderful staff family run business. We feel like part of their extended family and take many new friends along who are now regulars there.

The staff were lovely and more than helpful. However, we weren't expecting a frozen pizza. You could tell it was frozen due to the base (and having bought one many of times in the past). Disappointing

my brother and I grew up in the hg and often visited benvenuti as a teenager, we were not disappointed for over 20 years, but last night not disappointed. service was attentive, eating was good fast, but the quality was amazing. we will be venting there. soon.

Me and my two friends visited Benvenuti on a Saturday night. It was very busy therefore service was a bit slow but the servers were brilliant and got us everything we needed. Food is amazing! Been to Benvenuti a few times before and will definitely...be coming back again.

I've been here for a few years. this was an evening to celebrate my mom and dad's jubilee, had a fabulous evening service was exceptional and eating just as beautiful. a pointer they can't book, but franko made it clear about the phone, he would make sure that we had one table, and he kept on his word.

Sunday evening visit, trable of 4. Franco set the tone with a fantastic welcome. Seated promptly. Very attentive and upbeat staff. Service was exceptional and flavours on a variety of dishes were amazing. Atmosphere and setting was very relaxed and enjoyable. Looking forward to another...visit when we're back in town.

extremely busy on a Sunday evening. very loud inside. eating was too salty for my pleasure, but ok, my man liked his meal. the personal was pleasant, but obviously very hastened from the feet. when we were done, a waiter took my daughter's food away, so we felt very hurried. I think they like you in and out quickly. definitely wouldn't recommend for a romantic evening, but with friends or family then well.

Proper Italian food. Fresh pizzas, amazing pastas. The ribs are to die for. Don't come here if you're looking for a swanky hoisin duck pizza, you only get the traditional food here and rightly so. We had a takeaway during the Covid lockdown ..service was impeccable, felt safe, food was piping hot and ready when we arrived. Staff were so helpful and able to change dishes due to dietary requirements. Could not fault them.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
